Jesolo Live Blog

The competition is streaming on FLO, but I’ve got your backs with the live blog. We’ll work through these hard times as a family.

Warmups have concluded. We’re having special Ferrari time before the competition begins, where she is being awarded a melted frisbee?

Touch now. Remember the US gymnasts are competing as individuals, so they are spread across three different rotation groups here. Smith/Malabuyo are together, Kenlin/Dunne are together, and Shchennikova/McCallum are together.

ROTATION 1 – Part 1

Kenlin – VT – USA – inbar to stalder full to Ricna, hit, just slight late moments – inbar full, very late to Pak, brushes legs on mat on Pak – hits Shap 1/2 – toe 1/2 to front 1/2 back out dismount. A hit but will be disappointed in the Pak, totally lost form and hit the mat with her legs.

On beam Vanhille of France nearly comes off on a side jump, just tentative in a couple series attempts – finishes with a stuck gainer layout.

Vezina – VT – Canada – Y full on back pike like an old-fashioned queen, step back

Dunne – UB – USA – toe full, a little late – stalder SHap, nice – connected to Pak, hit – toe Shap to crazy-legs gienger – toe 1/2 with some arch to piked jaeger, hit – 1/2 turn on high – late – double pike, step back

Alyona hits vault, just crunched over with a step to the side.

Charpy – BB – France – lean on loso mount but saves it –

McCallum – VT 1 – USA – very good DTY, nice shape, small hop back, good form throughout

Malabuyo – FX – USA – double double, a little forward with a medium hop – DLO with a bounce back, stays in bounds – switch ring to split leap 1.5 – 2.5 to front tuck to double stag, loses her legs a little in that, and a touch off to the side – wolf turn triple, gets it around for credit – switch full, around, good – full-in, comfortable, just a small slide. A solid hit. She won’t be entirely pleased with the landings, giving away a little too much, but it works.

Ferlito – BB – Italy – aerial to split jump, hit, short of 180 on split – bhs bhs loso and falls

Smith – FX – USA – DLO, short with a bounce forward – 1.5 through to 3/1, underrotated with a large lunge around – switch ring to split leap 1.5, good – double arabian, deep into sissone, OOB on landing sissone – wolf double – double pike, good. Not her best. That 3/1 will get downgraded to a 2.5 and some struggle landings on the first three passes. It’s early in the year.

Holbura – BB – Romania – British mount, hit – switch to split to straddle, small check, good individual skills – bhs to back tuck and falls, you could see that coming, tentative – aerial to split ring jump, borderline credit – side aerial, nice – switch side with arm-wave check – full turn, small check – double pike, deep but hit with a step forward. Is it bad that a routine with a fall makes me think, “Actually nice effort!” for Romania right now?

Now it’s warmups for the second half of rotation 1, featuring the Russians, Brazilians, Romanians, and Italians.

Rotation 1 – Part 2

Ilinakova – FX – Russia – double Y to illusion, well done – full-in, seucre, drops heel in double L turn but keeps leg up throughout – split leap full, a little bouncy – front tuck through to a cowboy double tuck, struggles around – more simple routine in the leaps – 2/1, with some crazy legs. A hit. Not a super difficult elite floor, but a hit is always a thing

Ghiciuc with some checks on beam but hit her bhs back pike series and side somi that I saw – 2/1 dismount with lunge back.

Perebinosova – FX – Russia – DLO, solid, small hop back – full-in, bounce back – switch ring to switch full attempt, short – wolf turn 1.5? – front tuck through to 2/1 with hops – L turn double, dropped a little early, may not get it – double pike, step

Mori – UB – italy – finishes finishes DLO with a little pike a hop.

Saraiva – VT – Brazil – hit a solid DTY – just a little bounce back and a moment of legs at the end. Good one.

We are all Melnikova irritatedly waiting on floor and then getting attacked by bugs and then the stream cutting out right before she starts.

Melnikova – FX – Russia – Front tuck through to double tuck, pretty large bounce back – double Y, nearly around but not quite – anddddd that’s all we got on the feed. I’m actively going to murder someone.

Carofiglio – UB – Italy – Ricna to Pak, hit with crazy legs on pak – Shap to bail with legs – shap 1/2, same – 1/2 turn to giant forward to double front with hop. A hit routine, but straddles in most skills that will take the E score down –

Barbosa – VT – Brazil – good DTY, hop to the side

Ocolisan fell on her series and then dismounted with a layout. #Romania

E Afanasyeva – FX – falls on a whip to 3/1 – simple leap choice – 2/1 with a bounce to finish

That’s the end of the first rotation. China gets in on the action in the second rotation, while the Smith/Malabuyo/Russia group is on a bye.

Is the rotation change jingle just the music from the game The Room?

Rotation 2 – Part 1

Vanhille – FX – France – swithc leap full – DLO, verrrrry OOB with mushy knees – split jump full, good – double tuck, two baby hops back – L turn 1.5ish – triple turn – front full third pass with a large bound – split leap full

Dunne – BB – USA – split jump 1/2 from side, short of 180 but secure – bhs loso, small adjustment – switch ring, secure – split to straddle, not connected to the switch ring for series – side aerial, hit – switch to switch 1/2, tentative on switch 1/2 and a small check – aerial – split rign jump – little adjustments out of every skill but hitting – not quite getting 180s on the complex leaps – bhs bhs double tuck, lunge back. Hit.

Charpy – FX – France – double Y, split 1.5 – double tuck, step forward – double front, pulled it around somehow, lunge back but kept it to her feet because of magic – front full to stag – wolf turn double – double pike, hop back – switch to switch 1/2

Kenlin – BB – USA – side aerial, secure, nice form – switch with a check – switch 1/2 to back tuck, secure, not bad on the switch 1/2 position even – split jump 1/2 from side – L turn with a check, just drops a little early – split leap full, not all the way rotated – bhs bhs layout, a little whippy but OK, small adjustment – aerial to split leap to split jump, nice – bhs bhs double pike, deep but hit, small hop back. Good one.

Ferlito hand down on full-in on floor – nice bent-leg double L  turn (so not an L, which is allowed) – turns look nice, some major legs in twisting – double pike, hands down again –

McCallum – UB – USA – weiler 1/2 to stalder Shap to tkatchev, solid – Pak, clean, nice – toe shap 1/2, legs together throughout – inbars -to giant full to FTDT dismount – very good and solid. Not huge difficulty and some feet in that opening combination, but other clean moments. Useful if not huge.

Ricciardi – BB – Italy – bhs bhs loso, off line toward the end and falls – aerial to split, pretty nice extension – y turn was very good, into sissone, some nice qualities here and there as she has shown for years now, just…falls – switch – side aerial, strong – 1.5 with small step.

Shchennikova – UB – USA – inbar full, good – connected to Shap to tkatchev, hit – Ricna to Pak, nice – stalder shap 1/2, fingertips it but gets it – 1/2 turn to new dismount, deep with a large step to the side and off the mat, but one the bars one of her more solid sets, some Shchennikova-back but not too much, looked comfortable in the skills she was doing until the dismount. Nice overall.

Holbura finishes floor with hit double tuck.

Rotation 2, Part 2

Ocolisan – FX – Romania – 3/1 nearly around, will get credit, bounce back – 2.5 to front tuck with hop, nice twisting shape – split leap 1.5, not quite to 180 – switch full – double pike, a little deep but fine, small hop

Basile – BB – Italy – bhs stepout mount, hit – bhs bhs layout, legs but secure – switch to split leap to split jump, well done overall – full turn, small adjustment – aerial with some knees and a check – side aerial with leg-up wobble -switch 1/2 with another pretty large check, staying on – double pike, quick flipping speed to get it around with a hop.

Guo with a full on vault, piking and hop back

Ghiciuc – FX – Romanian – nice height on double pike, step back – double tuck, nearly stuck landing, small hop forward – split ring leap to split leap full – 1.5 to front tuck nearly sat it, no punch on front tuck at all but pulled it around somehow despite being under horizontal – switch ring – 2/1 with stagger backwards, nearly out.

Carofiglio – BB – Italy – great amplitude on straddle jump with a check – aerial, good – back handspring to indeterminate acro shape in series, deep but hit – switch to switch 1/2 – front pike and never had a chance, half of a foot hit the beam, and falls – gainer layout with good – hop.

Liu Jinru goes for the rudi, very deep, knees nearly touched the mat but didn’t, so will be an OK score because rudi and no fall.

Ivanus – FX – Romania – nice double attitude, nearly around – full in, hit – double pike, small slide – double L, borderline around – solid lift into split leap full – front tuck through to 2/1 with hop back – wolf turn double – L hop full – switch 1/2 – double tuck, step forward – pulling around some of that early tumbling was a struggle, but she did it

My favorite part was when the camera just didn’t follow Liu Jinru on her second vault.

Saraiva – UB – toe Shap to tkatchev, hit, some crazy legs – piked tkatchev to pak – extra cast on low bar – 1/2 turn to shoot – some hs – toe full to giant 1/2 to double front with huge bounds forward into another country. It’s good she’s so small so she didn’t risk running her face into the low bar after landing that dismount, but on the bars not bad. Rushed moments and handstands, but solid for Flavia.

Golgota – FX – Romania – big full in but pretty large stumble back and OOB – same on double arabian with a bound forward but kept it in this time – switch side 1/2 landing gets a little crazy – good popa – double pike, good, small hop – double wolf turn – switch – split leap 1/1, nice – double tuck, legs but solid. This choreography is very “every Romanian junior in 1997”

Barbosa – UB – Brazil – Ricna to Pak, ricna nice, some legs in Pak – Shap to bail, hit – stalders hoot – nice toes throughout – toe full to tkatchev, solid – some very short hs – DLO with a hop in place. Got through well.

Mori looked like she just got her dismount around on beam. Big lunge back though.

Rotation 3 – Part 1

Kenlin – FX – USA – podkopayeva, nice, hit, small hop back – front 2.5 quite good –  double L, drops a little early – back 1.5 to front tuck – very good leaps – double tuck, some cowboy but solid. Should be a good score

Alyona – BB – USA – wolf double, hit – bhs loso loso with a single swim correction – aerial to split to bhs, pause early so won’t bget series bonus, good individual execution – onodi with check – side aerial, another check – falls while I was watching Smith on vault – oh, you had been getting through – lean at the hips on side somi – kind of bails out of a side leap and then a major check – dismounts with just a layout. Wonder if that was planned or she was just way off in her back handsprings, which it looked like. Started so well too.

Smith – VT – USA – Just Yfull? with a hop back

Dunne – FX – USA – wolf turn 2.125 – very good DLO landing, solid – back 2.5 with some crazy legs and crossover step – switch ring is nice, good split leap full as well – front tcuk through to double tuck, a little stagger on landing – Y turn 1.5 – double pike, solid landing. Nice one.

Malabuyo – VT – USA _ DTY with a lunge back, bigger lunge than she would have wanted but not bad

McCallum – BB – USA – wolf turn triple, very secure – split jump 1/2 from side with leg-up check – side aerial to loso, solid with knees – front tuck, no chance, deep and falls – switch to aerial to split jump, will get deducted quite significantly for some of these leap positions – double tuck, step forward

Kroll – BB – Germany – ro back handspring mount, solid – switch to split, short of 180 – switch 1/2 with check – illusion turn, not bad – side aerial, solid – side somi, hit with a lean – back handspring and falls – intended to be part of dismount series – bhs loso back 1.5 with NCAA realness, but bailed out of bhs the first time because she wasn’t going to be able to dismount.

Long delays on beam in this rotation because they’re like, “What do we even do with this?” so we sstill have another routine to go there while all the rest of the events have been done for a while.

Vezina – BB – Canada – ro bhs mount, the theme of the day – bhs loso series, nice and high but a check in it – attempted leap (double stag-looking-ish?) with a check – split 1/2 from side, small check – full turn, good – aerial with a  wobble to break connection into split ring, pretty nice split ring shape – side aerial to bhs to 1.5 dismount and falls.

NONE OF YOU ARE MAKING THE CENTRAL MICHIGAN BEAM LINEUP WITH THESE DISMOUNTS.

Rotation 3 – Part 2

In which Russia vaults, China does bars, and Brazil beam.

Iliankova – VT – Russia – Yfull, not bad, a little pike, lunge back, the usual

This held-bent-leg “double L” is an increasing trend. Double R? Grisetti falls on final floor pass.

Guo – UB – China – toe full to Shap to Pak, pretty – nice hs – toe Shap 1/2, small leg break – well short on a hs – hits jaeger, pretty sholid cast positions – oooooh 2/1 dismount. Good, fine, but probably not making a mark because China.

Perebinosova – VT – Russia – goes for DTY, takes a million steps to the side and nearly ends up on the UB dismount mat. So not ideal.

Basile – FX – Italy – double arabian, huge bound forward and OOB – 2.5 to front tuck, also OOB but barely this time – double tuck, hop forward – split leap 1/1 – switch 1/2 – double pike, step

Liu Jieyu – UB – China – Clear  hip shap to clear hip full (very late) to tkatchev – piked jaeger, hit – Pak, pretty – nice hs – toe Shap 1/2, only small leg break – toe on full in dismount basically right to her face. What’s the evaluation of a dismount landed face first?

Melnikova – VT – Russia – DTY – large bounce back, more of a bounce than she typically has

Melnikova VT 2 – Lopez – some piking, hop back.

Carofiglio – FX – Italy – huge burned-my-foot bound on her double front, OOB, but great shape in the air as always – Dowell, excellent, small hop only – popa a little crooked and bouncy – switch ring to split leap 1.5 – 1.5 to front pike with hop back – basically obsessed with this popeye pose to finish her routine

Liu Jinru – UB – China – jaeger, hit – all casts at horizontal – giant 1/1 to tkatchev to pak, some legs – cast 1/2 on low is a struggle but works through – struggles on crotch-first shoot to high – double tuck, stuck. It was Jinru and bars, but she didn’t fall.

E Afan – VT – Russia – falls on DTY, opposite issue of the fall in training, when she was short – here she was did an over-rotate side twist to her butt like a comic genius

Barbosa – BB – Brazil – nice layout series, confident – switch side 1/2 with a check – L turn – side aerial with a wave correction – front tuck, solid, nice and height – large leg-up wobble on a jump, was going so well before that – double pike, small hop – nearly awesome

E Afan hits 2nd vault

Mori OOB on final floor pass

Qian – UB – China – is actually several feet shorter than the low bar – higgins to piked jaeger, good – pak with major arch – cast 1/2 to stalder to toe shoot that barely gets to high because of height – DLO, step back. The beginning of something.

Saraiva – BB – Brazil – ro bhs mount to split ring to Korbut, very nice – layout to straddle to sissone, also strong – bhs loso and nearly falls, saves it but a major break – switch ring, small correction, nice extension – front tuck excellent, major error on sheep but saves again – aerial to split to bhs is fab – double pike, short with a lunge.

That was so Flavia. Half of the skills (the hardest ones) were amazing, and then she was also at risk of a giant disaster on every other element.

Rotation 4 – Part 1

Shchennikova – FX – USA – piked full in, controls it, step back – double pike, stumble back and OOB – switch ring to switch 1/2, good – back 1.5 to front full, slightly hoppy – triple wolf, just pulls it around – wolf 1.25, intended to be a double – double tuck, hands down. Oh, Alyona.

McCallum – FX  – USA – nice full in, comfortable, small step – front lay to front full to front tuck – wolf turn double – switch ring to switch 1/2, good – 3/1 with lunge forward – split leap 1/1, well done – double tuck, a little crunched – not a complex routine for this level but ones of the more solid floors we’ve seen today.

Maalbuyo – UB – inbar 1/2 , intedned to be full, has to improvise and recast – stalder shap to pak, clean – nice hs – stadler shap 1/2, pretty – good toes – tkatchev, a little flat but hit – DLO 1/1 dismount, with is new, small step, a little pike but not too bad. Shame about the early mistake

Kroll – FX – Germany – split jump 1/1 – double tuck, step back – drops out of double Y spin a little – split leap 1.5 – 1.5 to front tuck, pretty bouncy – 2/1, fine

Smith – Ub – USA – inbar to inabr full to inbar 1/2 to jaeger, hit – piked Ricna, solid – Ricna, no connection to Pak, but individual skills fine – hitting hs – FTDT with small hop. Not bad at all. Just a couple things and a missed connection, but a useful hit.

McCallum finishes with 53.933. Eight tenths lower than her verification score, but this also included a fall, so that tracks.

One routine for you, eight Geico commercials for me. One routine for you, eight Geico commercials for me.

Rotation 4 – Part 2

Ghiciuc – VT – Romania – full, pretty short with a jarred landing hop –

Domingues falls on double pike on floor.

Melnikova – UB – Russia – inbar full to inbar Shap to Pak, nice – toe Shpa 1/2, good, small leg break – 1/2 turn to piked jaeger, fall – Oh Gelya. It was going so well. Finishes with good dismount.

Guo – BB – China – [second half] bailed out of a switch ring a little, which is not very china – split jump 1/2 from side is better than the US ones – some nice basic dance elements, stuck 2/1.

Better full from ocolisan. Hop back but good distance.

Barbosa – FX – Brazil – piked full in, bounce back but appears to keep it in bounds – double L – tuck full in with lunge back – straddle 1.5, around – switch full, a little abbreviated in position – 1.5 to front full, low but around and secure – split leap 1/1 was nowhere close – double pike, step back. Looked to run out of steam on elements toward the end there but a nice day for her.

I mean she looks on the verge of tears about it, but that’s normal for Jade.

Perebinosova – UB – Russia – Tweddle to Yezhova, very good – Shap to stalder full to tkatchev and falls. NO ULYANKINA JIG FOR YOU. And a second fall. Full in was good.

Qian is your typical fantastic little Chinese beamer, complete with fall on a perfect-looking layout series – switch to Korbut, good. 2/1 with hop back.

Good hit on floor from Pedro’s eyeshadow.

Golgota – VT – Romania – DTY with a hop back. You could use that at worlds.

Liu Jieyu – BB – China – switch ring with check – fall on back tuc sk eries –

Iliankova – UB – Russia – piked hindorff is hit somehow, super close to the bar but worked it out – as is regular hindorff to pak to shap to clear hip 1/2 to Yezhova – toe Shapo 1/2, strong – toe full to FTDT, small hop. And Iliankova was the one who hit!

Saraiva – FX – brazil – DLO, shortish with a hop forward – switch leap full, nice height – whip double tuck with a step, good – switch ring through to split leap 1.5, usual bouncy on every single leap landing, but nice elements – back 1.5 to front full – split ring leap – double pike, small slide –

Actually afraid the Jesolo crowd will steal her

Moving on the final rotation now. Brazilians should be overall pleased with how today went.

McCallum currently leads AA among those who are done. Most still have one more event.

Rotation 5 – Part 1

Dunne – VT – USA – Yfull with hop back –

Salmina has some solid beam leaps and execution and fell on a loso becaus eof course.

Vanhille – UB – France – Shap to Pak, nice height on Pak – toe Shap, small leg break, to bail – hit – 1/2 turn to shoot – close on jaeger but caught – toe 1/2 (short) – DLO with lunge forward

Kenlin – VT – USA – pretty good DTY, a little under, small hop forward, but fine. Nice day for her.

Smith – BB – USA – wolf double, hit – bhs layout series with a little bounce back – tuck full, hit – front tuck to straddle to split, got the combo series – side jump 1/2, actually a good one – another split 1/2 from side, also good – hesitation on aerial but a small check – bhs bhs double pike, short with a lunge, but it had been a while since she hit beam so that’s important.

53.468 for Kenlin.

55.166 final for Smith. Will be pleased for semi-struggling on floor and not doing much on vault.

Holbura – UB – Romania – clear hip 1/2 to piked jaeger – struggles on giant ful land has to redo and improvise – giant 1/2 to jaeger, hit – bail – large arch in toe-on and falls.

Malabuyo – BB – USA – wolf turn good – bhs loso loso, loses her knees on those losos – front tuck to a huge straddle jump to swingdown, probably won’t get series bonus but good skills – Arabian, small check – split to sissone, pretty shapes – straddle 1/2 from side – aerial, solid, breaks connection into split ring jump – switch ring, a little low on front leg – bhs bhs double pike, small step, a little deep. A good one overall.

Cereghetti just did an actual pass to her face.

Oh Lara Mori’s vault run. We have some good times don’t we?

55.868 for Malabuyo, which goes ahead of Smith by a comfortable margin. Melnikova was close to Malabuyo after three events, so pressure on her beam now. (I know…)

Guo – FX – China – triple turn, good – 2.5 to front pike with a hop – double Y, just around, falls out a little – double tuck, possible OOB, a sluggish pass – switch ring to switch 1/2, short of 180 –  finishes with 2/1 (two straight 2/1s on final two passes, or was one a 3/1?)

GhiciuC – UB – clear hip to toe on to shoot on low – 1/2 turn to jaeger – giant full to double pike with a step, very simple but hit, as Romania needs to do

E Afan fell instantly on her mount on beam – side somi – good – L turbn, solid – aerial with a eg-up break but nice shape in the air – 2.5 dismount with step to the side. Not bad after the immediate disaster at the beginning.

Liu Jinru – FX – China – most preposterously insane 3/1 to front tuck attempt – the front tuck was moving all four directions at once and slightly upside down. Anyway, she landed it entirely OOB and sitting down. 2.5 is fine. So is double tuck. Please watch that first pass if you have a chance because she’s fine so it’s OK to laugh about.

Golgota – Ub – Romania – Shap to clear hit to tkatchev – giant full to Pak, straddle bit hit – 1/2 turn on low a little late – toe on to toe shoot – loses her legs in front giant – double front with lunge back. Another solidly good-for-Romania routine. Hit.

Perebinosova is hitting beam so far (??????) – finishes double tuck with a little hop back.

I will be calling China “Cheeena China” from now on because of this meet.

Liu Jieyu – FX – Cheena China – 3/1 with a step back, no front tuck like a total disappointment – 2.5 to front pike with hop – switch ring to switch 1/2 – triple turn, comes out of it a little early – double tuck with a stumble back, keeps it to her feet – 2/1, nice.

Ocolisan – UB – Romania – Ray good and then just dies in the middle of a giant swing twice in a row  – oh that’s the Romania we know and love –

Melnikova – BB – Russia – hits mount series well – switch ring, clean – L turn, overturns with a check – aerial to split ring with a check – bhs loso with a step back to keep it on the beam – side somi, hit – piked full in dismount basically to her knees but they didn’t touch the mat somehow? Total ankle cruncher nonetheless with a large lunge forward

Qian – FX – China – 3/1, solid – 1.5 to front pike – triple turn – switch ring to switch 1/2, not much content here for an elite set but all pretty nicely done – double tuck, too forward on landing but secure – split leap full was well short of 180 – 2/1 with hop. Fine.

Ivanus – UB – Romania – horizontal first cast – hits jaeger – pak loses her legs – 1/2 turn on low to toe on and comes off the bar. Second of five Romanians to fall on a toe on-off.

Iliankova – BB – Russia – secure on mount – front tuck, held well – sissone to wolf jump – split leap full with a step correction but actually very well done in hitting the split position, especially for that element – side aerial to loso is well hit – illusion turn – side somi – double tuck, stuck. A very nice beam for her!

So, that completes the competition. Scores were very FLO, but it appears Malabuyo is the AA champion, followed by Smith, then Ilyankova, then Melnikova. Malabuyo had that error on bars but was the strongest on the day across four pieces.

Ilyankova moved ahead of Melnikova by a hair after that very nice beam routine.

FGI’s results have McCallum at 53.366 not 53.933 as Flo posted

It’s Shchennikova and Smith to the bars final for the US. Ilyankova is the top qualifier.

Malabuyo and Smith qualify 1-2 on beam with Ilyankova third. Melnikova will also make the final.

So Romania is fixed now the end.

Why is Julian Assange just casually here organizing this award ceremony?

Russia just got up onto the first place on the podium, so those team scores from before were wrong. I feel better now because that seemed…weird.

Italy in third. China 4th. Romania 5th.

Love Flavia having to tell Russia what place they were in. And they were like, “We win???”

Easter baskets full of cellophane for EVERYONE!

GIANT WINE GLASSES FOR ALL THE TEAMS!

  1. 100% about the feed. Both the floor AND “flozone” streams froze. Like, what’s the point.

Also, these commentators are fine, but she has said that women are allowed to lunge on floor landings at least twice so far and to look out for Melnikova as she’s a senior….

  2. Re ragan, on all the training vault videos she never showed more than an FTY, i wonder if the double wasnt ready yet?

    1. She also appears to be coming back slowly from the injury at Worlds, e.g. only doing a FTY on vault.

    2. Her biggest problem was floor landings, usually a strength, so i wouldn’t be worried. Easily the last thing she went back to training was hard landings on FX. Also probably why they didn’t push the DTY on vault. Its a skill shes had for like 4 years, so nbd for her to not do it for one early season meet coming back from an injury.

  3. Does Emma have the same floor choreo as last year? I am crossing my fingers and toes for pirated footage <3 she is my fave

    1. Hoping her and Ragan get new routines. Hopefully somethin more mature for Ragan and with attitude turns. It makes sense why Ragan would wait till classics/championships to unveil a new routine because injury. But Emma could’ve gotten a new routine and her teammate, Sydney got one for Jesolo. Though in the past, TD seniors have gotten new routines in the summer rather than spring with juniors getting routines for Jesolo.

  4. I love how Aiko Sugihara lands her vault, salutes and then nods/bows at the judges. Now they only need to bow back! 🙂
