This is amazing – thanks! Macy Toronjo still has a redshirt year listed in her bio (same with the Glenn sisters). Seems like UCLA just isn’t putting that info on the roster list anymore.

  If I had to guess, they probably suspended her for academic reasons. She clearly didn’t choose to leave, and she may still be training until her grades come up, at which point she’ll be re-added to the roster.

  Could be a medical retirement. Usually when a gymnast medically retires, she still is involved with and is a part of the team.

Any news on Ashlyn Johnson (Sun Country Gymnastics)? She was added to DU’s 2019 roster back in May of 2018 but now does not appear on their list. They allowed Natalie Morton to start in 2019 after the fact which appears to be a substitution but I’m not super familiar with how the NLI, etc process works.

  My guess is at some point after she got to DU she decided not to walk on. It could have been an injury thing, not seeing the potential to contribute, or numerous other reasons. She’s super close with Quarles and I was quite surprised when I saw she wasn’t on the roster anymore.
  
  I recently found out that she is still involved with gymnastics–she is coaching in DU’s kids gymnastics program.

Any info on Madison Howlett from Southern Utah? She made the UB lineups every meet last year, when she was a sophomore, with a 9.804 average, but she’s not on the roster for the 2019 team.

So…. looks like Sydney Townsend has been removed at least temporarily from the Michigan lineup after getting busted with Vetere. She wasn’t in any of the lineups at the preview meet: https://twitter.com/UMichWGym/status/1069301568615391232?s=20
