The showcase meet this Friday is of course Alabama’s visit to Oklahoma—and I’ll keep you posted will full quick hits of that one—but if you’re checking out the scores before that, we have some serious NQS implications in the early meets.

Kent State – KSU is currently ranked 35th, squarely in the danger zone. In this week’s visit to Eastern Michigan, Kent State is looking for a bare minimum score of 195.150, which would keep the team in the top 36 for another week. But the real hope will be a season high of 195.800 or greater, which would put the team in a safer position and take some of the pressure off absolutely needing to get a score at the conference championships. A 195.150 works for now, but it would just defer the need to get a bigger score until the final week.

Central Michigan – CMU is a bit safer at #32 and knows it will be in the top 36 next Monday but will also be eager to clinch a regionals spot this week so that the conference championship performance is just bonus. There’s not an exact number for that as yet—it depends on what teams competing later in the weekend do—but I have to think another high 195 is going to do the job.

Northern Illinois – NIU doesn’t have a great path to regionals at this point but hasn’t been eliminated yet. The team absolutely needs a season high this week to avoid elimination, so look for anything 195.750 or better.

It’s not going swimmingly for Kent State in the early stages, trailing Eastern Michigan 97.725 to 97.200. That 97.200 would put Kent State on pace for just a 194.400. I don’t necessarily expect the pace to continue because Kent St. has its two best-scoring events to come, but they’re now looking at needing to go 49s on those events just to hit that minimum goal, which is tough. So far, this is exactly the kind of help that teams like George Washington and UC Davis were looking for.

Meanwhile, Bowling Green fared quite a bit better in its second meet post-article than it did in the first and has opened its senior day competition with a solid 48.875 on vault.

Kent State improved its pace in the third rotation on floor, but did not quite get that needed 49 by going 48.875 for a total of 146.075, still training EMU’s 146.800 by quite a margin. Kent State now needs 49.075 on beam to hit that mark necessary to guarantee staying in the top 36 this week despite what anyone else scores.

Central Michigan has completed the first rotation against NIU, and it looks like we have routines going simultaneously, so the rotation is taking 11 seconds. I don’t super mind. Pedrick hit her DTY in the anchor position, a large bounce back but excellent in the air. The rest of the lineup managed serviceable fulls, mostly of 9.750/9.800 level, except the rotation went 49.325 because judge #1 has an actual crack addiction and gave a perfect 9.950 to a full that wasn’t even close to stuck. GUYS.

CMU leads NIU 49.325 to 48.725 after one event.

The dream is over for a solid score this week from Kent State as the team is already set to count a fall on beam. Pressure will be seriously on at the MAC Championship, a performance that will decide whether the team advances or not. Because this score won’t count for Kent State, that means GW, Illinois, Davis, Lindenwood, and MSU all have a chance to pass this week, though for some it would require a season high.

It was a season-high 196.025 for Eastern Michigan to defeat Kent State’s 193.900, which will be dropped.

CMU goes 48.925 on bars for a two-event total of 98.250, well above the pace required to get a score to take the team to safety.

Denver has scored 49.350 on bars to open the meet against Iowa State. A little lower than the team’s recent pace, but still a big score of course.

Dickson – UB – Bama – small arch in first hs – short on bail hs with a small leg break – nice cast hs on high – toe on to tkatchev, solid toe point – FTDT, small hop to the side with an arm wave. 9.825

Stern – VT – OU – a hop forward on her Y1.5, came in a little deeper this time, form in the air getting better. 9.825

Graber – UB – Bama – giant full to gienger, huge but the usual leg break on catch, nice vertical position on bail, just a flash of legs apart in the air – pretty final cast hs – FTDT, stuck, a little stagger legs in the air. 9.875

Webb – VT – OU – massive Y1.5, came up just the slightest bit short with a medium-sized pace back. Still strong.

Childers – UB – Bama – good first hs – toe shap to bail, pretty solid, minor moments of knees and back in there – 1/2 into 1/2 turn to double front with a hop. There’s still a bit of legs in her dismount, but it’s better than her past FTDT, which could get super leg-crazy at times. 9.875

Degouveia – VT – OU – Y1.5, has a great ability to find the landing despite not having the same height as someone like Webb. Only a small hop. Touch of form. 9.900

Guerra – UB – Bama – good first hs – 1/2 turn into jaeger, very clean, solid amplitude, quite precise on the bail – hitting hs clearly, DLO, floaty, small slide back. Best of the rotation so far, so let’s see where they go. 9.875. An appropriate score in vacuum, which it was stronger than the other 9.875s in the lineup.

Trautman – VT – OU – huge amplitude on her 1.5, small hop forward and a bit of knees, but pretty much her usual, just a little less controlled in the landing than her best ones. Will be a solid score.

Mahoney – UB – Bama – good first hs – toe on to bail, legs right together – a little short on final hs – and then comes off on her tkatchev, didn’t have much amplitude and couldn’t catch. Finishes with her huge FTDT with a hop.

Dowell – VT – OU – nearrrrrly gets the stick on her 1.5 – very small hop – big, legs together, just that little hop.

10.000 for Brenna. Remember that time she didn’t stick though? I mean it was amazing, but…

Givens – UB – Bama – short first handstand – pretty jaeger, good toe point – hits handstand out of it well – bail, quite short of vertical position – DLO, stuck landing. Lots of pretty qualities but a couple verticals that should take things away. 9.825

Missouri’s quad meet has figured out showing other teams. Wojcik finishing up on beam for Michigan, lovely loso series – cat leap to side aerial, maybe a small lean there

Griffin James gets an exhibition spot for Alabama. Goes over on a cast handstand. Clear hip with hesitation – Lots of tools here—the tkatchev and pak are quite nice – but the handstands are not there – she was very late on a giant full and went into a double tuck, hands down.

After 1: Oklahoma 49.525, Alabama 49.275

So Brenna Dowell got a 10 without sticking, so that’s how that rotation went. We know vault is a strength for Oklahoma, so the score can be huge even when Nichols isn’t in and the landings on the 1.5s are a bit less controlled than they’d like, which was the case today.

Alabama still with some issues on bars, a fall that could be dropped and several others handstand-struggling their way down to 9.825s, but the score basement was fairly high here and they’ll definitely take a 49.275. That’s a season-high kind of pace.

Over at the Missouri quad, Michigan has gone 49.275 on beam with 9.9s from Wojcik and Farley to lead the way. Minnesota got 9.900s from Ramler and Sales on bars to be just behind at 49.175. It’s 48.900 for Missouri on vault.

Heads up, I’m watching the Oklahoma meet on the actual TV like an old fuddy duddy. That’s why I can see it. The FSGo link is always limited by geography, but it sounds like it’s working for no one this week?

Auburn has a 49.275 opening vault rotation. Very much needed that one after some vault landing struggles recently. Jada Glenn’s 1.5 out of the lineup.

Mahoney – VT – Bama – pretty legs together on her full, medium bounce back, good direction. A very crisp vault. 9.825

Webb – UB – OU – shortish first hs – huge floaty pak – a have a couple handstand deductions in here – toe shap 1/2, a bit of feet here and there in the routine – toe 1/2 to double front 1/2 out, stuck. Fab finish. 9.900

Armbrecht – VT – Bama – hop back on her full as well – similar to Mahoney but a bit stronger on the distance. 9.850

Marks – UB – OU – good first hs – toe on to toe shap, a little low but caught – bail – hit – maybe a bit short on final cast hs – FTDT, holds the stick, staggered with a little lean. 9.900

Desch – VT – Bama – full, a hop back on hers as well, like they are all doing – not as much distance as Armbrecht

Thomas – UB – OU – short first hs – toe 1/2 to jaeger, hit, a little lower than usual on that jaeger, but she got it – bail, solid, a bit of elbow shutter on catch – cast hs on high, a tad short – DLO, perfect and stuck. 9.900

Olsen – VT – Bama – Does her DTY and also has the best control of the lineup so far – smaller bounce back, a bit of legs at the end but not too bad.

Graber – VT – Bama – Exceptional 1.5, managed to hold the stick on hers it looks like, small hop heels together but not as distinct as Dowell’s. One a touch of legs in there. 9.950.

Lehrmann – UB – OU – great first hs – 1/2 turn into jaeger, super, nice toes – a little elbows on catch – clean bail – hits final cast hs close enough it looks like – FTDT and stuck. I have a couple almost-deductions here and there, but we’ll see what happens.

9.950. Legit surprised she didn’t get a senior day 10, but I wouldn’t have gone 10 there.

Guerra – VT – Bama – sits down her 1.5. Oof. It had been so solid in the last few meets.

Nichols – UB – OU – good first hs – giant Ray to Pak, smoothly done – hits hs on low – toe on – toe shap 1/2 – nailed it – DLO, stuck and not too much of a Maggie-stagger either. Very strong.

9.950 for Maggie as well. The bars judges got a little scared by how high they were going early and pulled back a little at the end.

James does exhibition on vault for Alabama as well. Pike in the air and a bounce back. Draper in exhibition on bars, sits her double front.

49.600 on bars for Oklahoma. So that is also a thing that happened.

After 2: Oklahoma 99.125, Alabama 98.550

Once again from Alabama it still wasn’t great with the fall from Guerra at the end, but they still managed a 49.275 again, which is right on the pace they’re looking for to get a season high. Oklahoma quite nice on bars. I would have been a little pickier on the early routines, but Lehrmann and Nichols did their usual, and it was excellent.

Over at Missouri, we see Wojcik 5th up for Michigan on floor, very strong full in, controlled landing – split leap full, right to 180 – front double full to front pike with a controlled step – rudi, nice twisting shape, into straddle jump with just a tad of travel. Pretty.

Minnesota has already seen two scores break 9.9 in this beam rotation, and now it’s time for Ramler.

Ramler – BB – Minn – full turn, smoothly done – bhs loso, secure landing, buttshelfs to avoid a check – aerial to beat jump, quickly connected – beat to split ring jump and a larger check there with a step and a wave – sticks dismount. The rest was perfect, and the form on that split ring jump was ideal, but a pretty large break there.9.850.

Michigan goes 49.375 on floor and Minnesota 49.275 on beam, so they’re both on track for strong numbers here after two events.

Rounding things up elsewhere, CMU went 196.250, so they’re more than fine now.

Denver hitting but off its own scoring pace, looking on track for a lower 197 this time. Auburn is going to get a 40 billion.

Trautman – BB – OU – it’s a little stiff at the beginning but no checks – bhs loso with a small lean correction – cat leap to switch side, nicely extended – kickover front, right on – high 1.5 and stuck. Solid start. 9.850

Desch – FX – Bama – double pike with a bounce back, just some feet – 1.5 to 1/2 to split to front tuck, solidly done – split leap 1/1 and split jump 1/1, solidly hit position – double tuck, controlled step back, a bit of cowboy. 9.850

Dowell – BB – OU – aerial to back pike as her acro series, quickly executed, even I would consider crediting it – switch to switch series, short back leg on both, especially the second – nice full turn – bhs 1/1, small hesitation – front front layout full, stuck. 9.925

Olsen – FX – Bama – double double, probably her best of the season – controlled landing, comes in just a little chest forward but held it – front tuck through to double tuck, a little short chest with a hop – split leap full to split jump full, gets it pretty well – double pike, solid landing, a bit of feet – 9.875

Lehrmann – BB – OU – bhs loso hit, just a little stiff in the air but not much there, solid – aerial to beat jump, did exceptionally well to save the series because she came in a little short but kept moving – switch to switch side, hit – gainer full, stuck. 9.900

Mahoney – FX – Bama – double tuck, looks like she just did keep that foot down, lovely shape in the air – front full to layout, some knees in the full – split leap full to straddle, crooked in the air – double pike, collapses a little in the knees with a lunge to the side, shame because it was so pretty in the air. 9.825

Woodard – BB – OU – side aerial to bhs series, well done, just a small hesitation on landing – kickover front, hit securely with just a little hesitation – switch to split, lovely positions there – side aerial to full, stuck. Nice. 9.900

Webb – BB – OU – bhs loso series, solid control – cat leap to aerial, also quite confident – switch to split leap, that’s the best I’ve ever seen her hit those dance element positions, nice, small hesitation out of it side aerial to full, stuck. 9.875

Graber – FX – Bama – huge full in, a slide back, nice completion and chest position – switch side through to wolf jump 1.5 and hits her positions easily – front lay to front full, a little low on that one, nothing major but a bit short – double pike, slide back. 9.850

Seems like she’s trying to do a bit less of the stagger on her sticks this week. A little lean as she waits to slide heels together.

So that’s a casual 49.575 for Oklahoma on beam, which means that Oklahoma needs to go 49.600 I believe on floor to set the NQS record. The way today is going, you basically expect it. 49.300 for Alabama on floor also keeps them on season high pace with a hit beam. With a hit beam.

Meanwhile, Minnesota and Michigan both go 49.225 for their third events, and a 49.425 for Missouri on beam has them close again.

Ashley Hiller is getting to do exhibition on beam for OU on senior night. Three series to loso, super solid – aerial with a check – switch, nice position into split – gainer pike, way off to the side but stuck.

Michigan has only a couple tenths on Minnesota going to the last event, so that will get interesting. Though because Missouri is on floor that’s pretty much all we’re going to see. Missouri also on track for a bigger 196 today.

Also John Carney has a poncho and a sombrero on. Clean opener from Bower for 9.850. Nicholson’s front 2/1 is close enough to get credit but will be deducted for under rotation.

Michigan has a miss from Mariani on bars for 9.4s that it’s working against now.

That score for Michigan on bars will mean that Michigan comes up a tenth short of Minnesota.

Draper – FX – OU – whip 1/2 to rudi, controlled landing, some knees – front full to layout, some feet, solid landings – switch to switch 1/1 – nothing major, but bits of soft form. 9.900.

Childers – BB – Bama – switch to sheep to beat, a little pause between sheep and beat and not the most closure on sheep – bhs loso hit well – aerial to scale, good smooth execution on that this time – 1.5, stuck. Also strong. 9.900

LaPinta – FX – OU – 3/1, a bit bouncy with two small adjustments on landing – front full to layout, not bad, just a little archy on that layout – strong leap positions – double tuck, not a lot of height but gets it, step. 9.850

Armbrecht – BB – Bama – aerial with a little hesitation into beat jump – full turn, almost overturns but covers well – bhs loso series, was a little off, tried to correct, and falls. Was going so well Alabama. Switch to straddle 1/4, another hesitation in there. 2/1, a bit short with a hop.

So it ended up with 196.900 for Minnesota, 196.800 for Michigan, and 196.800 for Missouri. Whoa now.

Degouveia – FX – OU – front 2/1, nice and high, controlled landing – front lay to front full, just a touch out of control on the lunge out on that one – perfect straddle positions – 1.5 to front full, solid. A knee here and there, that landing on the second pass, not much else. 9.875

Desch – BB – Bama – cat leap to aerial with an arm-wave check – bhs loso with another small adjustment, perhaps enough to break connection into beat jump – she’s tight but hitting – full turn – switch to split, strong positions – 1.5, stuck. 9.825

Some moments but she got through with a hit.

Trautman – FX – OU – DLO, chest up, shows control before her little hop to position, good – front lay to front full to split, some knees in the twisting – split leap full to popa, great positions, Kathy and I would like to see more precise feet going into that dance combination – double tuck, nailed. Great.

So it’s a casual 198.275 for Oklahoma. Alabama goes 197.250, which is a new season high for them, so mission accomplished for both teams. Scores went high for Oklahoma on senior night of course, though I expected more 10s honestly. The new trend for senior night is that the entire lineup gets 9.950 as a gift.

This is what we’ve come to. We see a team get 198.275 for a perfectly solid and strong meet, but not the end of gymnastics because there will never be anything better than this, and I’m like, “I thought it would be higher…”

So Oklahoma is now .005 short of its own RQS (NQS…) record. Alabama puts the pressure on Kentucky to get a score this weekend.

Edney – UB – LSU – Hindorff, good catch and distance, some pike shape in teh air – nice legs togther on bail – DLO, not her best landing there, a bounce back. Would you look at that, another 9.875?

Parks – VT – AZ – back to the bounces back on the fulls – a bit of knees

Priessman – UB – LSU – tkatchev, hit into pak, with the leg break on the pak – not too short on the 1/2 turn on low – perfect final cast hs – DLO, stuck. Great second half. Some form and amplitude things early on.

We have one of the judges moving from vault to bars at the Arizona meet, which is why it’s taking so long.

9.975 for Priessman. He was probably just like, “UGH 10 WHATEVER I GOTS TO GET BACK TO VAULT.”

Leydin – VT – AZ – just does get her 1.5 around, deep squat and a pretty large lunge back.

Finnegan – VT – LSU – some of her least control of the season, probably a full tenth hop back – the rest glorious obviously. 9.875 too high because you have to take a full tenth for that landing. 9.875 is what she gets for sticks sometimes.

Hendrickson – UB – AZ – hits jaeger with a bit of elbows, directly into overshoot – nice hs on high – DLO dismount with some feet, hop back

Harrold – VT – LSU – medium step to the side on her 1.5, knees. 9.950. WHERE AM I?

These vaults scores are literal insanity. I don’t get it. I mean I do get it because…all season everywhere, but what is happening here?

Hit bars for Jacobsen from OSU, finishes with a stuck double front. She’s having quite a good day.

Spencer – UB – AZ – nice first hs – Ray, great height – toe on, small hesitation into bail, legs right together throughout – DLO, lunge back

It was 9.950 for Edwards as well on vault. I think body position isn’t a deduction anyway, which is cool.

Edney – VT – LSU – she stuck her 1.5. Well, I fully expect that to go 10 because it was probably the best vault she’s ever done, and her knee deduction is less than Harrold or Edwards, and they didn’t see those.

Leydin – UB – AZ – pak, leg break, hit – 1/2 turn into khorkina, solid – hitting hs on high – giant full to double tuck, a bit late on giant full and a hop back on double tuck

That LSU vault was maybe the most preposterously scored rotation of the whole season, and that’s saying a lot.

MCP nearly ate the bar on her jaeger for Oregon State.

Ferrer sits her Omelianchik for LSU but they already have an 95,000, so it doesn’t matter.

Briscoe – UB – OSU – 1/2 turn into pretty jaeger, lovely toe point – bail, solid and crisp – nice cast hs on high – DLO, holds the stick with a lean. Strong showing.

Berg – UB – AZ – blind change into gigantic piked jaeger to overshoot, nicely done – good cast hs on high – FTDT, stuck.

And a 9.975 for you Christina Berg!

49.300 on bars gets Arizona out of the well.

Gill finishes bars for Oregon State with a DLO, forward landing but stuck. They’ll drop the MCP score and be OK. Scoring here not nearly as charitable as in AZ.

So anyway LSU goes 49.675 on vault after a 49.600 on bars, so watch out for this thing.

Things are not going great for Iowa on beam, so we could see Iowa return to the danger zone this week. Vance got a necessary hit for them in the final spot.

Hislop – FX – UNC – front lay to the most perfect rudi as always, controlled step back, gorgeous – split leap full to split jump full, a bit too out of control on landing those elements – double tuck, super high and controlled, a bit too much cowboy for my taste there.

Davis – BB – AZ – bhs bhs loso, good series – kickover front, kind of deep, works into abeat jump – 1.5, some legs, stuck landing. Good. 9.750

UW went 49.025 on vault to stay just over 49 pace after two events. Needs some solid bars and beam.

Harrold – FX – LSU – front 2/1, controls her step forward to stay in bounds – double pike, out of control with a slide back – switch ring to switch 1/2, nicely done especially the switch 1/2 – 1.5 to layout with a step out, a couple uncontrolled moments but mostly her normal. Solid. 9.825.

Oh, like a normal score. That’s weird.

Leung – BB – AZ – bhs loso series with a lean check – switch to switch series, some back leg – large break on side aerial, leg-up check – 1.5, college stick.

Singley very solid on loso series for Oregon State, nails kickover front as well – gainer full, small slide.

Desiderio – FX – LSU – DLO, very strong, chest pretty well up, controlled landing, her best DLO we’ve seen this year – front tuck through to double tuck, suppper low, deep landing with a lunge back – switch ring to switch 1/2, pretty nice, hit positions, just some feet – double pike, well short with a lunge forward. Shame about the 2nd and 3rd passes because the first was great. Will still get a 10 probably. 9.700.

Leydin – BB – AZ – wolf single, hit – switch to split, hit – bhs loso with a couple checks, one to each side, as she tried to keep it on the beam – very solid side somi – pike jump to back tuck, excellent, solid and the pike jump wasn’t faked – 1.5, small hop

Lacy Dagen with a smoothly hit series on beam for OSU, nice extension. Check on full turn.

Is this Bridget Dean in the floor lineup? – Double pike, really solid, just some knees in the air – split leap full to jump full, pretty rushed with some bouncing – double tuck, short with a lunge forward – 1.5 to layout, soft knees in that combination. It’s a usable routine. Not for the lineup this season, but there’s potential to work something out as needed in future years. 9.800 is charitable, but this meet, so whatever.

M Dagen – BB – Oregon State – hits loso series – switch to switch 1/2 to beat jump, love the walk out of the beat jump, a little short of position on switch 1/2 – side aerial to full, small step.

A couple checky moments from Lazaro on beam for OSU, but the straddle 3/4 was ideal.

Edney – FX – LSU – double arabian – nearly nailed it this week, little step adjustment – 1.5 to front layout, solid enough control in the step out – switch ring to split leap full, step – position on split better this week, not a lot of ring on the switch ring but OK – double tuck, solid. 9.950. Sure.

Gill – BB – OSU – lovely split to double stag, arm wave – aerial to bhs as her series, also a small hesitation if the judges want to care – gainer full, little bounce

Cowles – BB – AZ – aerial to beat jump, pretty solid – full turn, small check – bhs loso series, very secure – switch to split, not quite to 180 there – gainer layout full off the end, small hop

Finnegan – FX – LSU – 1.5 through to 2.5, a larger step forward this time but did keep that back foot down – double tuck, form is perfect, chest up, controlled landing, that’s what a controlled step back should look like – switch ring to switch 1/2, excellent – double pike, lovely in the air, a little short on landing with a step. 9.950. So you know they were ready to go 10 if not for the last pass.

You guys Madison Copiak just got 9.975 on bars and Washington went 49.575. The judges were like, “BUT THEY MIGHT NOT GET A HIGH ENOUGH SCORE TO MAKE THE EVENING SESSION.”

Kelley – FX – LSU – DLO with a bounce back this week – front lay to front full, a little bit of legs – split leap to tuck jump, some legs in split as well – double tuck, solid.

9.950 for Kelley. Cool, cool, that routine was definitely the same.

Tsk, tsk just a 49.475 for LSU, what will we do about you…

So, Oregon State went 49.000 on beam. So just hanging around 196.000 pace today. I do expect things to explode on floor, even though the OSU judges have been the most sensible of the meets going on right now.

Jacobsen – FX – OSU – double pike, solid landing – 1.5 to lay, some mushy leg position – split positions look solid – rudi, chest down but solid power. 9.850

Desidero – BB – LSU – aerial to sissone, solid – smooth loso series, well extended – switch to switch 1/2 to beat, switch is nice, the switch 1/2 doesn’t work as well for her as it does for Campbell and Finnegan – cast leap to gainer full, stuck. Good. Probably a 50. 9.850. I can live with that.

Force – FX – OSU – nice high double pike, dropped down into landing, good feet – switch side to popa, a little crooked in popa, OK – front lay to front full – double tuck, solid. That’s what she was doing at the beginning of the season for big scores.

Iowa goes 195.425. It’s borderline but it works because they had a 194.7 to drop.

Dean – BB – LSU – full turn – side aerial to bhs series, knees – switch to split 1/4 – aerial, pretty secure – side aerial to full, small hop. 9.875.

Someone from Illinois in the background just attempted a vault, landed it to her face/hands, and then rolled around for a while Ponor style. and SAME.

Illinois exactly that 195.6 I was talking about.

Lowery – FX – OSU – punch front 2/1 was excellent as always, but a little short this week with a small step – nailed second pass – some back leg in her split leap but the straddle is good – punch rudi, excellent

Durante – BB – LSU – bhs loso series, very pretty, lovely extension – switch to split 1/4, a little tentative in those positions – side aerial to full, small hop back. 9.900

Yanish – FX – OSU – huge DLO, good control this week too, chest up – front full to front layout, a bit too much arch in that layout, would like to see it rise for a straight layout – switch side to popa, solid positions, a little overturned on switch side – double tuck, perfect, great leg position, chest up. 9.950

Oregon State finishes with 196.550.

Edney – BB – LSU – aerial with a check – bhs loso series, solidly landed, some knees – switch to straddle 1/4, looked good from this angle, small adjustment – kickover front, quite strong – 1.5, stuck. 9.900

Washington nearly done with its meet. Copiak on BB, a solid loso series, a secure switch 1/2 with pretty solid position.

So Washington goes 196.975 for a season high.

Cal will have to score 196.825 on Sunday to make the evening session at Pac-12 champs.

Campbell has a check on her aerial this week on beam, which broke a connection that I believe she needed. 9.600

Leydin’s 1.5 through to double tuck on floor was excellent

Finnegan – BB – LSU – wolf single, lovely – bhs loso series, nicely done – switch to switch 1/2, check, but lovely positions of course – side somi, hit – side aerial to small slide back. A couple things. 9.900

Berg – FX – AZ – front 2/1, a little out of control on the slide – switch to split full to wolf full, a moment of back leg here and there but nice toe point – 1.5 to front pike, hit – rudi to split jump that went so high and far back that she kind of accidentally turned it into a split jump 1/2 but there you go. 9.900
