The biggest day of the three. 32 teams over 8 sessions, 16 advance to tomorrow.

The rotation draw has given the #2 teams the delight of starting on beam, which means that those first rotations are critical if theoretical borderline team is going to open the door for a potential upset bid. If those #2 seeds get through beam successfully, they’ll feel much more comfortable about their chances to make it through to tomorrow.

We are introductionating in Ann Arbor. And presumably in Athens though the stream has not begun yet.

Klopfer – BB – Alabama – aerial to bhs, quick enough – strong leaps – lone sissone, good – hop on side aerial to full disomount. Good.

Magee sticks a full on vault for Georgia. 9.850

Ella Warren solid on beam for Kenbtucky, finishing 1.5, short with a step back

Maxim – VT – Michigan – near stick on her Tsuk 1/2, just a little short with a small slide. One of her strong ones.

Ward – VT- Georgia – Tsuk 1/1 only a small hop back. Good.

Olsen – BB – Alabama – bhs loso loso series, very solid as we’ve come to expect – switch to wolf, hit – full turn, no trouble – aerial, knees – double pike, a little short this week but only a small step. Good.

Vega – VT – Georgia – hop back on the full, pretty much her usual, good distance of course

Brenner – VT – Mich – small step back on 1.5, good.

Hit beam second up for Angeny for Kentucky.

Childers – BB – Alabama – sheep, small hesitation into beat but fine – loso series, a little dance out to cover – aerial to scale is strong.

Dickson comes up short on her Omelianchik, hits but a large lunge back – 1.5, holds stick with a lean.

Korth has a lean check at the hips on her back tuck on beam,

Lukacs – VT – Georgia – one of her stronger DTYs, Suzanne almost tackles her. Best part.

Also Vega got a 9.9 for a non-stuck yfull. DIDN’T I TELL YOU.

Great 1.5 from Karas on vault. Only a small slide.

Snead with a strong landing on her 1.5, small movement. Georgia did the job on vault and is getting the scores too.

Basically stuck 1.5 from Wojcik on vault, just a slide of heels together, well done.

9.950 for a non-stick for Snead. The scores are coming for Georgia here. Regional over.

A check or two for Stuart on beam for Kentucky. But small. Good hit.

Gaskins – BB – Alabama – strong side aerial – a little tenttive on full turn – split jump 1/2 from side is OK but it was better extended in the warmup – some knees on losos eries but hit – switch to split is lovely – gainer full. Hit.

That’s five good beams up for Alabama, so they’re doing fine.

Those Iowa State bars scores were right with those Kentucky beam scores, so keep an eye on that. Same with Missouri’s floor.

Dukes – BB – Kentucky – smooth loso series – aerial to split, nice height in both elements – just a touch of feet here and there – no checks – perfect stuck 1.5 dismount

Tucker – FX – Missouri – full in, strong controlled landing, good – 2/1 to loso, smoothly done – double pike, stuck with just a little low chest

Hyland – BB – Kentucky – switch to split, lovely toes – cat to aerial is smooth – no trouble on bhs loso series either – side aerial to full, stuck. Excellent.

We never got a beam score for Korth. There was some judge discussion. And now is she getting to go again at the end of the beam lineup?

She definitely did some of a routine in her normal position?

Anyway, Korth BB – Part 2 – full turn – bhs loso, knees but hit – cat leap to switch to back tuck is stronger than the first time around – 2/1, stuck, a little chest forward.

Good bars from Ohio State to break 49, though Georgia and Alabama starting to pull away.

Kentucky, Iowa State, and Missouri will all be VERY close after the first rotation. But Kentucky had a good beam. Scores there looking tighter than the other pieces so far.

We’re still waiting on the floor score for Garcia to be posted, so Penn State shouldn’t be as out of it as it looks right now.

Big news of that first rotation was that Kentucky would have wanted a better beam score, although I thought they did pretty well.

We’re up on floor for Kentucky with poland – front tuck through to rudi that got kind of crazy – but fine.

Moment of truth for Missouri on vault because this can get kind of iffy –

Lukacs – UB – Georgia – close on tkatchev bit hit, lots of form – pak is pretty – DLO with a bounce back

Good double pike on floor for Desch. Sticks her doubel tuck, some of her most solid tumbling.

Snead – UB – tkatchev and bail are clean – DLO, two steps back and a leg-up balance check, which was kind of bizarre

Mariani just does hold onto her bail second up on bars for Michigan. Good save.

Missouri will definitely be pleased by how cracky the vault scoring is in Georgia. They needed some gifts there and are getting many of them.

Stuck dismount for Al-Hameed on bars for Georgia. Sailing through.

Olsen hits floor, finishes with controlled double pike.

Bounce back on FTDLO from Dickson on bars.

Missouri broke 49 on vault. Staying right in this.

Karas – UB – Michigan – toe on toe shap, good legs – bail, a very small back arch, good legs together there as well – holds onto vertical hs on high bar – DLO, stuck

This is after a miss from Brenner in the thrid spot, so important routine.

Oakley got a little archy in a handstand on the low bar but saved a solid routine.

Hyland – FX – Kentucky – double pike, solidly done –

Wojcik – UB – Michigan – short first hs – toe 1/2 to pilked jaeger, close with some elbows but caught – bail, hit – better final cast hs – DLO, hit with a lunge back – that was the most tentative I’ve seen her on bars so it won’t be quite her usual score, but it’s a necessary and usable hit.

Kentucky starting to get the floor scores that will allow for some distancing.

Farley – UB – Michigan – hit first hs – 1/2 turn to piked jaeger, clipped her feet on the bar and did amazingly well to work through it, still a big deduction – bail is pretty – finishes 1/2 turn into double front, stuck. Super routine, but then the clip of the feet, so let’s see what they do with it. That clip is a .1 flat deduction, so not devastating.

Korth chest down but secure landing on her full-in on floor.

Farley gets through with 9.800 on bars, so Michigan survives the rotation.

We know Kentucky will be in second after this rotation, even before Dukes goes.

Pretty double pike on floor to finish from Graber. They have multiple 9.900s already in this rotation.

Dukes – FX – Kentucky – stuck double pike – front full to layout, solid – double tuck, ooc with a bounce back, but otherwise a clean one

Guerra hit DLO on floor, chest a bit too forward – overturns her switch side into popa, but good positions – 1.5 to layout, clean, love the straight shape in layout – double pike,c ontrolled step. Strong.

Ohio State had a beam disaster and Penn State is falling way out of this with 9.6s, so unless something ridiculous happens, Michigan and Alabama are looking good.

I’m going to keep an eye on Michigan’s beam, because Michigan’s beam, but otherwise that one is going to get the less-focused treatment because it’s starting to become too clear.

Kentucky will feel this is still too close for comfort. They should be fine, but no room for even like a random 9.6 on bars.

We’re getting started at the LSU site with a critical beam rotation from Minnesota.

Sonier – BB – bhs loso series, good – split jump 3/4 with a lean correction – standing loso, hit – bhs bhs 1.5, stuck. Really good start.

Magee – Bb – Georgia – straddle to straddle 1/2, pretty extension as always – fall on loso series MAGEE!. Here we go. Switch to switch side, a check –

Stuart sits her 1.5 on vault for Kentucky! They’ll be OK as long as they get a good one from Korth.

Michigan comfortable on beam through three

Korth – VT – she hit it – she did land a little short with a slide back, but a hit score. Missouri will not feel like they’ve been taken out of it now though.

Oakley – BB – Georgia – not her most comfortable wolf, a little leany – pretty loso series, well done – split to split ring jump, small lean correction – gainer full, hop. A tentative routine but a hit.

Baumann – BB – Georgia – side aerial to loso series, hit with a pretty large leg-up wobble – 1.25 turn – switch side, hit well – 2/1, another leg-up balance check but this time on the ground.

It shouldn’t be more than 9.7 but it’s a hit. They survived the two nervy routines. But of course this meet so 9.775. Dear.

Love the full in on floor from Iowa State

Minnesota, BYU, and Arkansas all very close. Actually Utah too.

Skinner – VT – Utah – hop back on DTY, not her best control but good, will score well.

Vega – BB – Georgia – switch to split ring, good – aerial to split, soft knees in split but fine – bhs loso series, smooth – stuck dismount. Georgia will be fine again.

The scores at LSU seem to have lost themselves, but a very close first rotation is finishing up with Evans on floor.

Evan – FX – BYU – double pike, solid, keeps from foot down – double tuck, a little short with a hop forward – split leap full to wolf jump full, strong – gorg front lay to front full to finish – disqualified for flossing, though. Shame because it should be have been in the 9.8s but we’ll have to give it a 0.000 for flossing.

It’s a 49.200 for Utah on vault, lower than they would have wanted but fine for right now. 48.900 for Arkansas on bars. (not high but they’re through the trouble event).

Kentucky has three tenths on Missouri heading to bars while Missouri is on beam, which should be a comfortable set-up for Kentucky, but keep a look out.

Solid three series from Yamzon on beam. Deep on kickover with a small lean, but works through it.

Dula – UB – Utah – 1/2 turn in jaeger, lovely as always – tight position in next cast hs – hit bail – stalder to double tuck, stuck, pretty routine, just the handstands to work out

Kwan – UB – kentucky – 1/2 turn to super high jaeger, good, into overshoot – giant full to double tuck, small hop back. They’re doing the job here.

Arkansas has a fall in the second possition on beam from Hambrick.

OOH! A mistake from Dukes in the 4th position on bars for Kentucky. Caught her foot on a toe shoot and came off the bar.

Two routines to stay alive for Kentucky coming up now.

Iowa State finishing up its day with Sievers on vault – handspring pike 1/2 short with a large lunge forward. Not a strong on there. But a really good showing overall for Iowa State today. Competitive with these teams

The challenging teams in LSU are all getting 9.7ed to death in the second rotation, so they’re all staying pretty close.

Hyland – UB – Kentucky – tkatchev, hit, a little close but fine – bail, good, I’d take for a couple handstands – FTDT, small slide back. Not her cleanest but the hit they needed.

Missouri going through solidly enough on beam to keep the pressure on Kentucky for this final bars routine from Korth. A must hit.

Korth – UB – kentucky – piked jaeger, solid, just a bit of elbows – bail, good – nice final cast hs – FTDLO, with two lunges back but kept to her feet. That was close to being a disaster, but she got through it. Should be enough.

Minnesota is now working against a fall third up on floor.

Really solid three series from Ward on beam for Missouri. Straddle 1/4 was tentative with a little check – – strong side aerial –

But Missouri is going to come up just short.

Hailey Garner came back on beam for Arkansas with a hugely important hit routine to avoid counting a fall. Arkansas still right in this thing.

Minnesota needs some big final floor scores, and if the loveliness of Ramler’s final pass is any indication, they’ll start getting them. 9.775. Admittedly misses her first pass

Somehow Dickson still went 9.800 for that floor routine where she flew OOB, so that’s cool. Georgia will advance, but not with a particularly convincing performance for tomorrow’s purposes.

Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, and Alabama will advance — all according to seed.

Interesting: Alabama will outscore Michigan here. Very important for tomorrow purposes.

Williams – FX – Minnesota – a little bouncy on front 2/1 – switch side to popa are how they should look, excellent – HUGE 1.5 in her second pass, but overdid it a little so the layout connected out was flat, landed it fine, but a position deduction – solid rudi, love her twisting.

The judges were not here for Minnesota’s floor rotation, so this thing is getting intense.

Really tough draw for Missouri and Iowa State, and it showed with them not advancing despite really strong performances. 196.625 is all Missouri could have hoped for and will advance out of most semifinals. The worry for the other teams is that Georgia got some seriously elevated scores for that performance, and if it continues tomorrow, may just close the door on them.

Ramler – VT – MInn – holds the stick on her 1.5! Very nice. Not a perfect vault with a little knees, a little lean to hold the stick, but very good.

Loper – VT – Minn – she sticks her 1.5 as well. Great vault, and a little higher and more secure than Ramler’s.

Minnesota had reason to be worried but has officially shown up today with those final two vaults. 9.950 for Loper.

Utah hitting on beam through the first three, so no issues there.

McGlone – FX – Arkansas – short on her DLO with a lunge, came close to landing OOB but didn’t which is a major deal in minimizing deductions – double tuck is very solid – 1.5 to layout. Got through with a9.8, they’ll take that.

THIS MEET. Minnesota will probably be OK with this getting to end with the Ramler and Lu routines on bars. Arkansas needs the landings on those 1.5s, and Minnesota needs the early bars scores to be there. And BYU is just three tenths out. Going to beam, but beam can score better than vault.

Hambrick – VT – Ark – solid enough 1.5, good completion, lunge forward, useful

McGlone – VT – Ark – Yfull – really good power, didn’t really hold the landing though, so it’s a step back and then a little hop/salute/celebration to tkae on landing

Elswick – VT – Ark – ooooh lands short on her 1.5 with two steps back. Won’t be the score they needed there

Bars scores starting to deliver for Minn

Ramler – UB – Minn – shap to pak, perfect – toe shap 1/2, legs right together – toe on to FTDT, stuck, just a little deep. Great routine

49.050 for Arkansas on vault. That is not quite going to do it I don’t think. Minnesota just needs a hit from Lu in the fifth position.

BYU is having to count a 9.6 and 9.7 on beam.

Lu – UB – Minn – toe shap to pak, lovely – 1/2 turn on low, snaps it together quickly – very strong final cast hs – DLO, small hop back.

Can’t imagine that won’t be enough for Minnesota. She just needed a 9.800 to get past Arkansas.

It’s 9.900 for Lu! Minnesota moves ahead of Arkansas by .125.

BYU too far back and can’t get there with these last two beam routines, so it will be Utah and Minnesota after all coming out of this one, but it sure was close.

Utah is in comfortable position, but it sure is more 9.7s than they would want on floor. As in some.

Arkansas put up a solid performance to keep things exciting, but it was Minnesota’s bars that sealed it in the end. Minnesota was always going to have that final rotation advantage, and it paid off here.

We know nothing about individual qualifiers yet because we have to wait for the evening semifinals and also tomorrow to know who isn’t advancing as part of a team.

The next semifinal will bring us the Denver/Boise State/Washington/Southern Utah clash.

This is a very important rotation for Washington, starting on floor. It needs to be a competitive total since it is their best-scoring event.

Brown – VT – Denver – gigantic 1.5 of course, comes up a bit short this time with a step, not too large.

Cunningham – FX – Washington – just a little bouncy on opening double tuck – 1.5 to front pike, unclear dance out landing, some form – finishes double pike, secure, a little deep

Esmerian – BB – Boise St – small lean on three series but hit – stuck 1.5. They’re finding their feet.

Another big gienger fron Jorgensen on bars – front giant 1/2 to double tuck, a little hop. They’re in this.

Means – BB – Boise St – bhs loso series, solid – switch to straddle 3/4, some back leg on the switch – kickover into beat, a little deep but solid – gainer full, stuck. Nice

Denver goes sub 49 on vault. Wow. Only a tenth up on SUU. And that was a pretty normal vault rotation for them.

Thompson – FX – Washignton – solid double tuck, controlled step – split leap 1.5, around – front lay to front full, hit, just a little low – pretty clean rudi, hit

Masiado – BB – Boise State – L turn, not quite up to horizontal – solid loso series, tight position but hit – switch 1/2 is well short of 180 with a check, a few deductions to take on that one – side aerial to tuck full. No counting falls and the 9.9s came for them in the middle of the rotation to save it.

9.750 for Masiado. Ends up being enough to put Boise State ahead of Denver after 1. The thing to watch on vault – the scores are going to be messy if everyone is given the “normal Yfull with a hop is 9.750” lens.

Floor scores are very slow. We’ve only been through 4 routines for Washington there.

Washington – FX – Washington – nice high double tuck but a bounce back – front lay to front full, dance out, excellent amplitude on that pass as well – switch side to popa, good – double pike, a larger bounce back on that one. 9.850. Floor scores pretty loose.

Hoffa – FX – Washington – pretty good full in – chest down but mostly controlled – front lay to front full, solid twisting position – split leap full to wolf jump full, around – double tuck, a little forward there as well

Meanwhile Hyderally of Alaska got 9.900 on beam to tie for the lead there.

Esmerian – FX – BSU – front 2/1, crossover step and 100% went OOB but that woman did not raise her flag, so well see, perhaps someone in the other corner did – 1.5 to layout, kind of flat in that layout – Boise State giving itself work to do on bars in the last rotation – rudi, also a little bouncy

SUU losing a little more pace with 48.850 on beam. Denver’s 49.325 on bars will regain the lead.

So I guess you could say it’s close. Boise State got away with one there on floor with the no-OOB call. Washington will be solidly pleased with leading BSU at this point in the meet, but the final rotation favors BSU by several tenths, so Washington will need a big rotation 3 to guard against that.

Denver is still way too close for comfort and closer than expected. They haven’t done floor yet, which has been a loose event today, but certainly any margin to have an issue on beam is gone.

Sundstrom – BB – Denver – small check on loso series – switch to switch 1/2 to beat, pretty solid shape on that switch 1/2 – gainer pike, holds stick with a lean

McGregor – VT – BSU – full, comes up a little short with a hop forward –

Riley – UB – UW – shap to bail, great legs together – DLO, great, stuck landing, a little close to the bar. Strong routine. 9.725 feels very low, but I’ll admit I was watching three routines at once and could have missed things.

Split on Riley’s routine was 9.900 to 9.600, so looks like I’m not the only one confused.

Means hits her 1.5 for Boise State, hop forward and some knees, but a hit

Vasquez – BB – Denver – aerial to bhs loso, strong extension – switch to split, excellent positions – y spin – split jump – side aerial to full, stuck. That’ll work.

Copiak – UB – UW – late grip change – BIG piked jaeger but crashes to the ground. Staying down and the coaches are looking at her.

I think she’s OK, but Washington is in serious trouble right now and SUU is getting back into it.

Thompson – UB – UW – 1/2 turn to jaeger, some elbows on catch – leg break on bail with an arch but holds onto it – FTDT, small slide. A hit, but another one with deductions to take. Washington will not get the advantage it needed because of bars.

All the Washington counting bars scores in the 9.7s, loses ground to Boise State heading to the fourth rotation. Washington really needs to pull something out now.

Loomis – FX – SUU – quite bouncy on her opening leap combination – double pike, some chest, bit of a slide back – also bouncy on her switch side to popa, she has lost at least a tenth here on dance element landings – front lay to 1/2, small bounce – double tuck, lands forward with a step. Shouldn’t be a counting score here.

Denver pulled away in the third rotation with a big beam score, so they’ll be fine heading to floor.

Houchin was going great on the bars, DLO a little short with a hop, but Nebraska showed up on bars.

Dennis – FX- UCLA – piked full in to her knee – Not one of her strong ones – front full to front layout, a little shape but solid – nice power in those leaps – double tuck, controlled step back

Oklahoma running away and Cal with a lead of .875 on NC State going to the last rotation there.

If working live scores were even an option, we would know that UCLA and Nebraska are through, but we don’t. Except we do, and they are.

UCLA would win even counting the Dennis score.

Hano – FX – UCLA – DLO, nice chest up, good control – front full to 1/2 to the realization she didn’t really have enough time to do the little run so she only kind of did it and it was hilarious – split leap full to wolf full – double pike, strong routine. UCLA comfortable the whole day.

I understand why Kyla wasn’t on floor, because of resting and whatnot, but after those first three events she could have just burped as her routine and set some manner of personal record for AA performance.

Moving back to LSU –

Milliet – FX – Auburn – front lay to rudi, nice rudi, front lay a little iffy from this angle -very pretty double pike shape, just a little chest down on landing.

Arizona State did get into the 49s in this rotation on vault, but LSU and Auburn remain comfortable.

Stick on the 1.5 dismount from Seilnacht to open bars for Cal. Webb nails front 2/1 on floor for Oklahoma.

A fall first up on beam for Maryland.

AHHHHHH! That was just the most horrible injury to watch for Cerio on floor for Auburn. I hope you weren’t looking. I actually gasped and put my hand over the screen because I think that helps. The only other times I’ve done that was Ait Said on vault at the Olympics and Mao Yi on vault at American Cup.

Meanwhile, good stick dismount from Georgia on bars for Cal.

Jones – UB – Cal – toe shap to pak, legs together, very smooth – 1/2 turn on low, solid vertical position – short final cast hs – FTDT, stuck. Excellent routine. Cal is very strong on bars through these first three routines.

They’ve stopped the meet as they tend to Cerio on floor.

Watterson lovely of course, toe full to double back, hop back. 9.825, the same as the others, tells me about how much dismount judging we’re seeing.

Cal will finish bars with Bordas, nice bit jaeger, close catch with some elbows, good handstands, finishes giant full to a stuck double tuck.

That will finish out the meet for Cal and clinch qualification along with Oklahoma.

They have finally been able to get Sam Cerio onto the gurney.

Brenna needs to score 7.175 on this floor routine for Oklahoma to advance. Unclear if she can do it. Hits the Dowell well – 1.5 to layout, very solid – split leap full to popa, looks strong – layout and front full are both excellent of course

Ella Douglas for Michigan State now has to go on floor after Cerio, she’s kind of all over the place with a fall as we all would be. Good double tuck to finish though.

Glenn hits her 1.5 too. A little more ragged with a step to the side, but they had five good ones already.

Leonard-Baker – UB – ASU – toe shap to bail to piked toe shoot to high, excellent – FTDT, small slide. Great job.

Campbell – BB – LSU – bhs loso series, strong, nice toe extension – aerial to sissone – switch to switch 1/2, small check but solid – 2/1, holds the stick with a little lean

9.925 for Leonard-Baker helps, but ASU is still going to be back 8 tenths going to the final event.

Finnegan – BB – LSU – nice wolf single – bhs loso, solid – switch to switch 1/2, small lean correction – side somi, smoothly done – side aerial to full, slide back. Good. 9.925.

Interesting that LSU just has a .175 edge on Auburn going to the last rotation. Important for Auburn to show that it is closer to LSU than to Arizona State.

Things are once again moving in a specific direction here, so if you need to take a break before the final session from Oregon State begins, you have my permission.

And by that I mean I will be making only the broadest notes for this final rotation from LSU. It’s my version of a break.

It’s Becker into the bars lineup for Auburn in place of Cerio – goes 9.825. That works.

Pretty strong floor routine from Campbell. Some of her best landing control.

9.900 for Krippner on bars keeps pressure on LSU.

Pretty routine from Milliet does the same. LSU is going to need to get the scores from its last three on floor.

It;s another 49.350 for Auburn on bars and a total of 197.075. Auburn’s score in the second semifinal was higher than Utah’s score in the first semifinal.

LSU is exactly as over it as I am and will stop with five on floor, having put up five hits and a 197.200 to win the session. But only just. If this keeps up with LSU, Auburn, and Utah, this could be a solid one tomorrow.

So, no upsets yet. One session to go.

Florida, Oregon State, Stanford, and Iowa.

Iowa was the most impressive performer yesterday, but will need to step it up today to put together a contending score. Stanford will need to hit. Very important first rotation for Stanford to get into the 49.2 zone.

Gymnasts have already moved to their events, so they’re ready for us.

Skaggs – VT – UF – bounce back on full, fine

Singley – BB – OSU – split to double stag, hit – loso series, smoothly controlled – kickover front, good – stuck dismount. the start they wanted.

Cole – FX – Stanford – 2.5 to front tuck, solid

Alexander – VT – UF – big full, looked like a pretty controlled landing. Can’t tell because Owen’s butt is in the way but weirdly no one is tweet complaining about that one.

It’s been a long day, I’m basically just going to live blog Owen’s butt from this point out.

Lowery – BB – OSU – bhs loso, small check correction – switch to straddle 1/4 is nice, side aerial, a little feet but solid – stuck 1.5

Hartzler had to go over the other way on a handstand on bars. And then fell lately.

Hoffman – FX – Stanford – front through to rudi, keeps front foot mostly down – strong split position in split full – rudi to slightly crazy double stag. Good routine.

Thomas – VT – UF – lands well short on her 1.5 with a bounce back

Schoenherr – VT – UF – well someone brought her 1.5 today, only a small stutter on landing. Good one.

Sullivan falls on tkatchev. Iowa counting a bars fall now.

Boren big 1.5 but once again out of control on landing with a hop and then another shuffle.

M Dagen – BB – Oregon St – bhs loso series, solid – switch to switch 1/2, secure, a little short on swithc 1/2 – side aerial to full, stuck.

Love how any hit beam is 9.900. Falls are 9.200. These are the two scores.

Flam – FX – Stanford – good double arabian today – front full to a high front pike, she definitely rose into the second skill, but the full was a little flat – double pike, slide back

Lazaro – BB – OSU – bhs loso, just a little front foot raise on landing but nice extension – switch to split to straddle 3/4, good – side aerial to full, stuck

Lawson with a 1.5 through to double tuck, short with a lunge. Will get hit for split jump full not reaching position. Step back on double pike, looks like she just did keep it in.

Gill – BB – Oregon St – split jump to double stag, small check – aerial, kind of slow in combination into bhs – switch 1/2 to beat jump – gainer full, small hop

Hoang – FX – Stanford – DLO, controlled step back, kept front foot down – split leap 1.5, close enough to around – nice float on front lay to front full – double pike, hit. Stanford on track to be ahead of Florida after this rotation.

Oregon State just went 49.500 on beam you guys.

bryant – FX – Stanford – full in with a bounce back, keeps it in bounds – front tuck through to double pike, stronger control there – ridic power obviously – switch side to popa, switch side a little crooked – open double tuck, very good.

Cole good full, only small hop back. Fitzgerald with a larger bounce back.

Davis is leading off floor for Oregon State. Landed her final pass a little too short with a step

Gowey – UB – Florid a- a little too close on her Ray catch but fine – nice pak – DLO, stuck. Pretty finish.

Bryant – VT – Stanford – big full, hop back but pretty controlled on the hop back this week by Bryant’s standards. It wasn’t a bound.

Hundley – UB – Florida – her usual on the shap to pak and shap 1/2, just a little legs, solid – FTDT, stuck with a stagger

These team prisons really put a damper on the Oregon State team’s jigability during Jacobsen’s floor.

Schoenherr also catches a little too close on her jaeger – otherwise solid – a short handstand before the dismount, stuck but a little too deep in position

Skaggs – UB – Florida – good first hs – tkatchev, nice counter into pak – closer on final cast hs – DLO, floaty, small step back. Fine. Lots of 9.8 work to my eye from Florida here, but it works for today’s purposes.

Thomas – UB – Florid a- shap clear hit to pak – toe on to toe shap 1/2 on low – smooth cast hs on high – DLO with a little bounce in place. Best of the rotation, easily

Singley – FX – OSU – front tuck through to double tuck, nice chest up position – double tuck, bounce back – switch ring to switch 1/2, a little low – punch rudi, a touch underrotated with a hop to the side

49.425 for Florida on bars restores the natural order of things. A .375 advantage on Stanford now.

Lowery – FX – Oregon State – punch front 2/1 and it’s tremendous – 1.5 to layout, very secure landing, some knees – popa is good, not quite there on the split full beforehand – rudi, controlled step. Nicely done.

Oof Madi Dagen just landed a Yufull in a ball shape, but she’s fine. Just deducted presumably. 9.325 tells me her knees touched.

Baumann – BB – Florida – bhs loso, very small lean adjustment – switch to switch 1/2, wonderfully extended – side aerial, very smooth – stuck 1.5 Perfect second half of that routine.

48.950 on bars for Stanford isn’t going to keep up.

So once Thomas finishes this next floor routine, we will officially know that the top 16 teams have all advanced to tomorrow. Snorzers.
