Full day today, including the ESPN meet between Oklahoma and Denver and the simultaneous what’s-that-going-to-be-like-now UCLA meet against Arizona. It’s like choosing whether you want to eat steak or a car crash. We’ve heard nothing more since Marz Frazier publicly called for Chris Waller’s resignation earlier this week, so I’m sure it’s going to be a totally normal team dynamic. Wave and fake it everyone!

But first, it’s the Michigans. Both Michigans are having a tremendous start to the season, so while Michigan should be the usual amount of favorite here (Michigan has defeated Michigan State 30 consecutive times), Michigan State will aim to put up a nationally competitive score. The highest Michigan State has ever scored against Michigan is 196.575 in 2003, also the teams third-best score ever. With a 196.475 and 196.350 already this season, beating that mark seems doable.

As always, streaming and scores on the links page.

Dudes, we know this basketball isn’t finishing in time. Give us a link to work with.

OK finally, temporary streaming link for Michigans.

Apparently Wojcik isn’t vaulting so byeeeee.

Rotation 1

Michigan VT 1 – Guggino – no stick this time but a solid one, pace forward on her Y1.5

MSU UB 1 – Stephen – toe on to maloney, only a bit of legs – holds cast hs on high – toe on to loss of broadcast for me, anyway finishes with giant full to double tuck, lunge back. 9.750

Michigan VT 2 – Mulligan – resting day with Mulligan’s full coming in – solid yfull, bounce back, some legs, dynamic. 9.825

MSU UB 2 – Loomis – blind to jaeger, can’t get her grips over and falls, looked low in the air – resumes with pak, legs apart – giant full to double tuck, step forward

Michigan VT 3 – Morrison – not her strongest Y1.5 – hop to the side, landing seemed to catch her a little more off guard, more jarring. 9.850

MSU UB 3 – Mitchell – toe on, maloney to bail, large hip angle in the bail – just shy on final cast hs – DLO is high but pikes down at the end, hop forward. 9.800

Michigan VT 4 – Brooks – nailed her Y1.5 – great distance, brings heels together, just a little bit of leg position.

9.975 there. I had that one at 9.950. Huge but I feel like she’s been cleaner.

MSU UB 4 – Jackard – short first hs – blind to jaeger, close catch, works out of it – bail, good toe point, a bit short of full vertical – strong final cast hs – giant full, late, into double tuck, lunge back. 9.825

Bars scoring high so far, which bodes well for Michigan.

Michigan VT 5 – Wilson – hits her Y1.5 – hop to the side. Good.

MSU UB 5 – Schulte – Maloney with legs into bail, a little shy but solid form – finishes DLO, small hip piking, bounce back.

Michigan VT 6 – Brenner – hits her Y1.5 – small step back and off line a little. 9.875

MSU UB 6 – Harkness – excellent gienger – good cast hs on high – bail, hit – best cast hs on the team so far – FTDT, legs apart in the air, hop back. 9.875

Michigan through that understaffed vault lineup with no Wojcik or Heiskell with a 49.425, which they’ll be content with. Not the level of landings from last week but no problems. Brooks was very good, kept that score up.

Michigan State gets through bars over 49, going 49.075.

Rotation 2

Heiskell returns to the lineup on bars. Vore in for Wojcik again.

MSU VT 1 – Hsu – solid direction on yfull, a little pike throughout – bounce back. 9.775

Michigan UB 1 – Heiskell – good first hs – blind to jaeger, a bit close, some elbows – pak, pretty – solid final cast hs – giant full, OK finish position, double tuck. Nice. 9.900

MSU VT 2 – Schulte – good amplitude on yfull, another pretty large bounce back. 9.750

Michigan UB 2 – Brenner – good first hs – blind to jaeger to overshoot, good amplitude, little bit of form – solid vertical positions – DLO, brings heels together. Solid. 9.900

MSU VT 3 – Smith – similar to the others in that she had a large bounce back on her yfull – best distance though. 9.800

Michigan UB 3 – Morrison – great gienger – solid next hs – clear hip a bit late into bail – DLO, hop back. 9.875

MSU VT 4 – Garcia – better landing control on her yfull, small slide back, chest a tad forward. 9.850. One judge went 9.900, so only took for the slide, which I don’t really see.

Michigan UB 4 – Wilson – shortish first hs – piked jaeger, hit – bail, looked like a bit of angle – DLO, holds stick. 9.925

MSU VT 5 – Hofelich – also finds the landing on her yfull, leans to hold the stick and chest more forward, more pike in this vault, but also better better distance than Garcia. 9.800

Michigan UB 5 – Vore – good first hs – maloney to bail, small leg break in both – borderline final cast hs – DLO, pikes it down to find the landing but does with a stick. 9.850

MSU VT 6 – Stephen – dynamic yfull, good body position, but a bounce back and a little sideward. 9.825

Michigan UB 6 – Brooks – good first hs – blind to piked jager, hit – toe on to bail, good toe point – pretty close on final cast hs – DLO 1/1, very good job to find the landing, holds those toes down, a little pike but only a little and not enough to be taken on a DLO 1/1. That was stronger than Wilson’s 9.925. 9.950 for Brooks.

Michigan State 49.050 on vault, which keeps them over 49 pace. Michigan 49.550 on bars for a solid rotation but not their crispest, but no one had any errors, just debatable cast handstands and things like that. If the MSU routines were in the 9.825s, then the Michigan routines were always going to score 9.9s.

After 2: Michigan 98.975, MSU 98.125

That Mike Rowe photo journey is exactly what I’m looking for.

Rotation 3

Michigan BB 1 – Morrison – candle mount, holds it, a little shy of vertical – bhs loso, shoulder dip working out of it – cat leap to switch 1/2, small pause before beat jump – slight tentativeness in full turn – gainer pike, little rebound

MSU FX 1 – Ewing – I still call her “WOGA Sydney Ewing” even though there’s no need to differentiate anymore – front 2/1, controls landing, some leg crossing – slight hesitation between her dance elements in that passage – 1.5 to front full, secure, knees. 9.850

Judging delay for Morrison. 9.850

Michigan BB 2 – Wilson – hitch kick – bhs loso series, very solid, good height – switch split jumps, a better combination for her this year, our angle looked short on the front leg – double tuck dismount, lunge back. 9.900. So they only took dismount, since that’s an automatic .100.

MSU FX 2 – Mitchell – good double tuck, chest up, secure – 1.5 to layout, layout is low, has to whip it around – switch side to popa, good extension, just a little shy of rotation completion – double pike, control step, chest a bit down. 9.850

Michigan BB 3 – Guggino – good lift on loso series – straddle jump, wobble and pause before straddle 1/2, so a broken dance connection there – cat leap to side somi, hit – bhs 1.5, stuck. Everything else was good, but the judges really do have to take 0.20 for no dance series there.

Sigh. 9.875. That wasn’t a judgment call, she just didn’t have a dance series.

MSU FX 3 – Harkness – very secure landing on FTDT – split leap full to wolf full, a bit shy of position – lay to rudi, leg crossing, secure. 9.900

Michigan BB 4 – Brooks – bhs loso loso, excellent, great height, perhaps a quiver on landing – switch to switch combination, good legs – kickover, solid – bhs to 1.5 dismount, hop forward.

9.850. So it’s the lowest score of the rotation. When you don’t take the deductions for others, there’s no way to reward how good Sierra Brooks is at everything.

MSU FX 4 – Stephen – front 2/1 to front tuck, front tuck gets low, good twisting position in front 2/1 – good height on dance elements – double pike, short, step forward.

Michigan BB 5 – Heiskell – side aerial with a check and then an additional bend at the hips – switch to switch combination, lower back leg today – bhs loso is solid – good 1.5 dismount. 9.800

MSU FX 5 – Schulte – full in, little bounce back – this is how you do a high tempo routine – switch 1/2 to popa, nice elevation there –  front tuck through to double tuck, secure. Good work. 9.900

Michigan BB 6 – Wojcik – aerial to beat, lovely – swtich to split, shows her 180s – bhs bhs loso, right on – good full turn – 1.5, hop forward. 9.900

MSU FX 6 – Hofelich – double pike, keeps front foot down – switch side to popa, fine, gets a little lower in the popa position than the switch side – 1.5 to layout, a bit flat but again works it out – double tuck, good, chest up and control. 9.925

49.425 for Michigan State, 49.375 for Michigan on beam.

Definitely a more secure beam rotation for Michigan but not really changing the “event you’re worried about status.”

Michigan State with a huge floor number, in contention for one of their best scores ever with a hit beam. I’m expecting millions for Michigan on floor now.

After 3: Michigan 148.350, MSU 147.550

Rotation 4

I like the hyping of Auburn as “Suni Lee. Drew Watson, Derrian Gobourne, OLIVIA HOLLINGSWORTH.”

MSU BB 1 – Harkness – smooth full turn – bhs loso series, secure, more closed in the hips – cat leap to side aerial, keeps arms moving into split jump – swtich, small pause before straddle 1/4, could say no combination but not clear and obvious and they definitely will give it- side aerial to tuck full, hop back. 9.775

Michigan FX 1 – Guggino – double pike, hit, chest a bit forward – switch side to popa, good lift in popa – front lay to front full, little bounce, some arch in layout – front lay to rudi, secure. 9.850

MSU BB 2 – Smith – bhs loso series, bend back leg in loso, small adjustment – switch, also a pause before her straddle 1/4, shoulder dip – double tuck, high, bounce back. 9.800

Michigan FX 2 – Mulligan – front tuck through to double tuck, step back, keeps it in bounds – switch side to popa attempts, doesn’t get them all the way rotated – double pike, solid. 9.850

MSU BB 3 – Stephen – kickover to two feet, solid landing – full turn, correction – bhs loso, small adjustment, lost her back leg position in the air – beat to straddle 1/2, a little under 180 – 2/1, small hop. 9.850

Michigan FX 3 – Brenner – full in, bounces quickly to present but landed in a ball shape – 1.5 to layout, hit – switch side to popa, gets her split positions, overturns the switch side but ends up in the right place – double pike, chest down again, secure again. 9.875

MSU BB 4 – Schulte –  swtich to switch 1/2, a tad short of 180, not bad – bhs loso, small lean adjustment – side aerial to full, hop back. 9.875

Michigan FX 4 – Wojcik – double pike, good control, chest up – split leap full to popa, shows clear split positions and finish positions – front 2/1 to front pike, stuck, yes – rudi to straddle jump, pretty solid control on jump. Excellent. A breath of fresh gymnastics.

9.950. Insufficient separation to the 9.900 and 9.925s we’ve seen.

MSU BB 5 – Mitchell – bhs bhs loso – excuse me how did she keep that on the beam securely? She did that loso fully sideways – full turn, lean to the side – aerial, small check – split to split 1/4, some back leg – 1.5, step-salute. 9.750

Michigan FX 5 – Brooks – full in, controlled step – front tuck through to double tuck, excellent – perhaps a little back leg position in split jump full – double pike, greaat landing.

Another 9.950. Cool with it.

MSU BB 6 – Garcia – full turn, smooth – bhs loso, good position, small check – aerial, keeps moving to clean split jump – switch to split, good positions – side aerial to full, finds stick. Lovely. 9.925

Michigan FX 6 – Wilson – open FTDT, excellent – front lay to front full to front tuck, high, just a bit of soft knees – switch side to popa, overturns both by a little – double tuck, solid. Third straight 9.950. No real qualms with those 9.950s.

Michigan State is done with 196.775, which ties for their 2nd-best score ever.

Michigan goes 197.925, which wasn’t even a 198, like a slacker.

Break time until the doubleheader.

Chiles, Campbell, Flatley, Malabuyo in the all-around for UCLA today. No Esparza or Tratz.

Bower and Davis AA for Oklahoma, Brown and Ruiz AA for Denver.

“Everyone wants to know what’s going on with the Bruins.” Oh, you’re talking about, like, the scores.

Highlights of Moors falling last week when talking about her.

The difference between the Denver team photos and the Oklahoma team photos is destroying me.

Valorie in the building. Calling in the Vambulance to deal with this.

Rotation 1

Davis – VT – OU – strong yfull, small hop back, legs apart at the end. 9.850

Ruiz – UB – Denver – rushes frist hs – good giant full into hit tkatchev – bail, clean – shortish final cast hs – DLO, hop in place. 9.800

UCLA has had a lot of “distractions”

Fletcher – VT – OU – solid amplitude on yfull, bounce back, a bit more knee form than Davis. 9.800

Flatley – VT – UCLA -nice amplitude on full, a bit large on the bounce back

Ramsey – VT – OU – pretty yfull in the air, clear bounce back, little leg break at the end, but solid extension in the air. 9.850

Hutchinson – UB – Denver – shap to pak, loses leg position on pak – 1/2 turn on low, a bit late – DLO, floaty, nearly finds the stick, step-salute.

Poston hits vault for UCLA, chest down, lunge back

Stern – VT – OU – medium pace forward on her Y1.5, otherwise strong. 9.850

Linton finishes bars for Arizona with a DLO, little hop forward

Glynn – UB – Denver – hits first hs – clear hip to gienger, just a bit of leg loss at the end – bail, hit – short final cast hs – FTDT, comes in deep, bounce back. Some things. Still goes 9.875

Better landing control for Malabuyo on vault, small slide back.

Levasseur hits her Y1.5 for OU, medium hop forward today.

Malia Hargrove falls on bars for Arizona, though she is back after injuring herself against the bars in a previous meet.

Mundell – UB – Denver – good counter on tkatchev – toe on to bail, perhaps a bit of leg angle – strong cast hs on high – DLO, chest well down, hop forward. Lovely until dismount.

Bowers – VT – OU – y1.5, solid, medium pace forward, looks like a bit of knees.

Moors – VT – UCLA – hs pike 1/2, minimizes the hop with a scoot to the side, chest well down though. 9.800

Brown – UB – Denver – maloney to pak, fingertipped that Maloney today – van leeuwen, little bit of feet – good final cast hs – DLO, smooth, hop forward. A bit tighter than her best bars.

Just 49.325 for Oklahoma on vault. An OK score but they did not have the landings today.

With 9.850 for Brown Denver matches that score after 1, 49.325.

Chiles – VT – UCLA – Tsuk 1/1 – nice, medium hop back, bit of pike but very minor, one of the more laid out Tsuk fulls. 9.875. So one judge took only for the hop.

McCabe – UB – Arizona – short first hs – blind is good into piked jaeger, solid – rushes next cast hs – giant full to bail, some hip angle – better final cast hs – DLO, stuck.

Campbell – VT – UCLA – lovely yfull, good height, small bounce in place. 9.900

Fears – UB – Arizona – tkatchev, hit, good flight, flexed feet – nice toe point in handstand and bail work – actual shoot to high bar – DLO, stuck landing. Pretty. 9.850

UCLA goes 49.250 on vault in a rotation that showed some improvement.

Arizona 48.825 on bars. Avoids counting a miss.

Rotation 2

Ruiz – VT – Denver – hits a yfull, bounce back, will/should get some amplitude deductions for coming off the table flat. 9.775

Sievers – UB – OU – maloney to pak, minor leg separation – pretty solid 1/2 turn vertical on low bar – borderline final cast hs – FTDT, a little low, step forward. 9.900 a bit high for me.

Sundstrom with a bounce back on vault. 9.775

Levasseur – UB – OU – toe on to tkatchev, a little close – bail, very clean, nice – strong final cast hs position – DLO, stuck. Excellent second 1/2 of that routine. 9.925

Hutchinson – VT – DU – smaller bounce back on her yfull, leg separation. 9.850

Fletcher – UB – OU – toe on to tkatchev, great dynamics – rushes next cast hs – pak, legs together – good 1/2 turn position on low – short on a couple of these casts – takes FTDT pretty close to the bar, step forward. 9.825

Glynn – VT – DU – tsuk full, hit well, medium bounce back, pike, leg separation on block. 9.850

Smith – UB – OU – loose back in first cast hs – Ray, hit – next cast hs is good – toe on to pak, lovely – hits 1/2 turn on low – solid final vertical – DLO, whippy and form, hop forward. 9.875

Mundell – VT – DU – only just pulls out her Y1.5, deep with a hop back.9.825 is high for a short landing like that.

Campbell – UB – UCLA – short first hs – maloney to bail, holds vertical forever – hip angle in final cast hs – double front, cowboy but good stick.

Bowers – UB – OU – lovely Ray – toe on to pak, clean position – 1/2 turn on low – handstands look there – FTDT, two small steps. 9.875

Brown – VT – DU – excellent Y1.5 – brings heels together on landing – holds those toes down long enough. 9.975. You could say she rose up on toes instead of a pure stick.

Davis – UB – OU – good first hs – higgins to perfect piked jaeger – strong cast hs – pak, nice – 1/2 turn on low bar, solid – crisp casts hs – higgins to double front 1/2 out, stuck landing. A little bit of legs on dismount, but that’s one of the best bars we’ll see. 9.975 for her as well.

Oklahoma 49.550 on bars, Denver 49.275 on vault.

UCLA gets 9.725 from Padurariu second on bars.

Ulias – UB – UCLA – good first hs – toe 1/2 to jaeger, juge – shorter cast hs – bail, has the toe point, small amount of angle – better final cast hs – DLO, large bound back. A hit. 9.675

Herry – VT – Arizona – lands short on yfull, lunge forward. 9.625

Malabuyo – UB – UCLA – maloney with legs into a pak, much better position on the pak – solid vertical position on 1/2 turn on low, legs get a little hung up – short final cast hs – DLO, bounce back. 9.825

Nosek – VT – Arizona – Yfull, pretty large bounce back and to the side – some pike. 9.775

Chiles – UB – UCLA – good first hs – tkatchev piked to pak, very clean – slight hip angle in cast hs – maloney to gienger, solid – good final cast hs – FTDT, flung a little, small hop. Good. 9.900

Hargrove – VT – Arizona – short Y1.5, sat it down.

Flatley – UB – UCLA – good first hs – higgins to good jaeger – bail, has the toe point, a little short of vertical – DLO, bounce back. 9.800

Good moments on the bars for UCLA today, but they did not have the dismounts. Just over the 49 mark for 49.050 there.

Rotation 3

Dunn – BB – OU – stuck gainer full, chest forward – had a wobble on her full turn. 9.900

Iwai – FX – DU – 1.5 to layout, small wait before stag jump – this routine is going to be a favorite – switch side to popa, nice elevation – double tuck, chest forward ejected back. 9.825

Bowers – BB – OU – small hesitation walking backward – full turn, clean – bhs loso series, off line and falls – split leap to switch 1/2 to beat, great dance element positions – 2/1, step back.

Ruiz – FX – DU – front tuck through to double tuck, a bit lower, slide back – tribute to the Memmel juicer – switch side to popa to popa, some unclear finish positions in there – double pike, hit –  9.850

Levasseur – BB – OU – full turn – bhs loso series, secure – switch to straddle 1/4, hits 180 on straddle – aerial, holds it into beat jump – gainer full, high and stuck. Nice.

Well. 9.975 for her, so here we go. I just want a little smoother rhythm for her from skill to skill in this one.

Padurariu – BB – UCLA – candle mount, hit – side aerial to bhs, good – beat to sheep, secure and good hip extension – side aerial to full, little hop in place

Mabanta – FX – DU – 1.5 to layout, dance out – wolf single only – switch ring 1/2 to split – rudi, chest down, hop to the side. 9.775

Davis – BB – OU – full turn, nice – bhs loso series, great control, extended – split leap to aerial, split leap just a bit low of 180 – beat to split ring jump, strong – 2/1, step back. Good. 9.875

Glynn – FX – DU – front tuck through to double tuck, control, chest forward – switch side to popa to popa, better finish position – double pike, similar landing to double tuck. 9.875

Chiles – BB – UCLA – not shirking her mount responsibilities – bhs loso, check, brings foot forward – aerial to beat, good – swtich to wolf jump, good amplitude on wolf jump – double pike dismount and pretty solid, hop back. 9.750. The woes of going for difficulty. I had it at 9.800 though.

Woodard – BB – OU – side aerial to bhs series, secure – kickover to beat jump, solid – swtich to split jump, good 180 positions – side aerial to full, stuck landing, legs well apart farther than shoulders.

They go 10.000 for Woodard. I was there until the end, but if the legs are farther than shoulder width it should be a .05 even if you stick.

Malabuyo – BB – UCLA – bhs loso is solid – aerial to split jump to split ring, not a lot of ring, but won’t be deducted in NCAA, good rhythm – bhs loso to layout full, stuck. Pretty work. She’s getting there. 9.925. One judge went 10.

Smith – BB – OU – good bhs loso series, secure, some leg positions – aerial, check – straddle 1/2 to korbut is lovely as always – gainer full, stuck, similar separation to Woodard. 9.950

Some really pretty beam work for the final four in that rotation. Score will be massive. Casual 49.700 there.

Brown – BB – DU – DLO, bounce back – 1.5 to layout to sissone, love the position of her layout – good dance element positions –  NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, falls on double tuck and it looks Achilles.

Well I hate it.

Meanwhile Sakti has a large break on her switch 1/2 on beam, leg up to horizontal. Another pause on her cat leap, breaks connection into side aerial to full.

So it’s 48.975 for Denver on floor.

Fears – FX – Arizona – double tuck, solid, small bounce back – switch side to popa, nice 180s and clear finishing position – 2.5, crossover step, pretty solid twisting position – 1.5 to front full, comes up a bit short with a step, more form on that one. But nice routine. 9.800

Flatley – BB – UCLA – aerial, pretty, into bhs loso – L turn to split jump, great split, L turn is close enough, small portions of the turn are below horizontal – switch ring, well done – 1.5 dismount, littel movement. 9.900

Herry – FX – Arizona – double tuck, chest up, bounce back – swtich 1/2 to popa, a little under on switch 1/2, good lift on popa – 1.5 to layout, good height on 1.5 double pike, short, lunge forward. Still 9.875

Campbell – BB – UCLA – bhs loso, large wobble, bend at the hips, tries to keep chest up – little check on switch 1/2 – swtich, pause before straddle 1/4 – strong stick on gainer full.

Hargrove – FX – Arizona – FTDT, bounce – 1/2 to front full, a little deep on front full , steps out of it – switch ring somewhat low, into split full, solid – double tuck, slide back

49.250 for UCLA on BB with strong ones from Padurariu, Flatley, and Malabuyo. 49.050 for Arizona on floor.

Rotation 4

Johnson – FX – OU – rudi, hit, a bit of leg crossing – double tuck, chest up, slide back – switch to switch 1/2 to wolf full, a bit bouncy on landing – 9.850

Ruiz – BB – DU – following a 9.850 for Iwai stepping into leadoff – hitch kick to switch side, solid – bhs loso series, secure, some body position – side aerial, small hesitation into split jump – gainer pike, little hop. 9.825

Davis – FX – OU – front 2/1, under control, crossed legs – 1.5 to layout, keeps back foot down – has to wrench around her dance combination, a little short and bouncy – rudi, secure landing. 9.900. The temperature, it’s rising….

Mabanta – BB – DU – wolf turn with an arm wobble – bhs loso, strong, works directly into split – switch 1/2 is very high has to lean and adjust into attempted connection to split jump – bhs 1.5, stuck. 9.800

Woodard – FX – OU – front 2/1, around, knees deep in landing – 1/2 to front full – switch side to split jump full, good split positions – front full to layout is clean. 9.925

Thompson – BB – DU – side aerial to loso, secure, foot flexing – switch to switch, shorter on those leap positions than others doing that series – side aerial to full, stuck. 9.850

Fletcher – FX – OU – whip to double tuck, controls front foot, chest up, nice – 2.5, somewhat out of control on landing with a stagger forward – switch 1/2 to popa, foot flexing on switch – front lay to front full, a little steppy. Getting there. Or, according to the judges, there for 9.925. I don’t see that score.

Ulias – FX – UCLA – punch rudi, a bit low and a bounce to the side – split 1.5 has nice split position but doesn’t show control on landing – 1.5 to layout, again pretty position on the layout in the air but short on landing, slide back

Mundell – BB – DU – bhs loso series, hit – larger break on switch 1/2 – side aerial is good – 1.5 hop forward. 9.725

Bowers – FX – OU – double pike, lack of control, lunge back, not quite OOB – 1.5 to front tuck, solid – switch to switch 1/2 to wolf full, good positions, some lack of control –

Still 9.925. These floor scores are very high.

Flatley – FX – UCLA – 3/1, bounce back, stays in bounds – front 2/1 is solid, small hop to the side – switch ring to switch 1/2, lovely – 1.5 to layout, good.

Sundstrom – BB – DU – check on full turn – way off line on series and has to hop off.

it will be 49.050 for Denver on beam and a 196.625 total, which is still good, but the Brown injury let all the air out of that one.

Smith – FX – OU – double tuck, slide back – 1.5 to layout, excellent floaty pass – switch side to wolf full, great positions – doubel pike

Chiles – FX – UCLA – front tuck through to double tuck, solid control, chest up – DLO is a problem, short landing, chest forward and step – DLO second pass – split leap full and wolf 1.5, around on wolf, short of split slightly on the split leap – double pike, deep, pulls it out.

So Smith goes 9.950 and Oklahoma ends up on 198.200, just short of Florida’s nation leading mark.

Hargrove – BB – Arizona – bhs loso loso and falls, pretty toe point in the air. She’s having a day.

Moors – FX – UCLA – doubel front, wonderful position, steps forward OOB – loso side pass – swtich ring to switch 1/2 to wolf pull, perfect – new final pass and it’s not better, front full to something attempt, 1/2? Falls.

Castles – BB – Arizona – bhs loso and falls, nearly an amazingly weird save there but has to hop off – counting a fall now – aerial to sissone, feet in aerial, pretty sissone position – pulls around wolf double – 1.5, tries to hold landing, lean and then a step.

Moors got 9.450 with an OOB and a fall? What is this? How do you possibly come up with that?

Malabuyo – FX – UCLA – DLO, chest forward, hops out of it – 1.5 to front tuck was a struggle, just did pull it around, loses height and form – swtich ring to switch 1/2, lovely – double pike, deep, lunge back. 9.675

Linton – BB – hits wolf turn – bhs bhs loso, secure – swtich to split, solid – side aerial to full, holds stick with a lean.

Campbell – FX – UCLA – front 2/1, pulls out the landing, somewhat off balance – split leap full and popa, great height – front lay to front full, shorter on that landing, stumble backward with a couple steps – double tuck, finds that landing, stuck but deep

So, after that beam rotation, Arizona is done on 195.125.

UCLA was…not disastrous, but we saw in that floor rotation and in the bars landings just how much work is still to be done. Moments of brilliance on beam, but not a lot else looks ready.

Still a season high for UCLA, 196.400 to 195.125 final.
