The back walkover with full turn had its heyday in the 1988 compulsory floor routine, when everybody had to show that they could do hands as feet and keep it pretty.
Most entries for hand support skills in the code these days contain a minimum turning requirement for credit, as if there were soooooo many people doing hand support skills that you really needed to weed out the ones who are just phoning it in. In the case of the back walkover, it needs to be accompanied by a full turn in handstand in order to receive its crumb of A credit.
