From 2006 to 2016, this was the simplest cat leap available to be performed in the code of points, but in 2017 the regular cat leap without turning was added back into the code at A (0.1) and the full turn was bumped up to B (0.2).
At B, it’s still not valued high enough to be useful to count in a routine, but a full twist is about the most you can do in a cat leap while still maintaining some dignity and not looking like a slinky in a windstorm.
