The double front in a tucked position is a challenging enough (and not particularly well-rewarded) prospect that only a handful of gymnasts elect to do it. This situation is rendered even more extreme when it comes to the double front in piked position. Still somewhat surprisingly, the piked double front entered the code of points only in 2015 after Brenna Dowell was named to a farewell worlds team and could finally get the skill named after herself.
It has since been performed by a couple other gymnasts, but not many.
