Ah, you’re the most precious one of them all. The layout Jaeger is almost never seen in the wild because of the sheer difficulty of catching it—while maintaining a layout shape long enough to get credit for the skill. Few are capable of doing it in a way that isn’t objectively piked, though the increase in value of non-straddled Jaegers beginning in 2017, enacted to encourage more variety in same bar releases, has encouraged a few more gymnasts to see that juicy F value and give it a shot.
