There are two types of people in this world: those say split leap 1/1 and those who say tour jete 1/2. The terms refer to the same skill. I personally opt for split leap full, taking the view that when gymnastics tries to use tour jete, it comes across as a desperate attempt to sound fancy by adopting ballet terminology, even though this isn’t ballet. Also, this is not what a tour jete is. THIS is what a tour jete is.
