Every once in a while, we’ll see a forward Stalder 1/2 in elite routines—primarily because it can fulfill the grip-change requirement since there are many easier C elements in regular grip that can be used if the goal is just padding out the D score with C skills.

It’s not the easiest way to fulfill the grip change requirement either, but for someone who can Stalder, it’s a much pretty option than the tacked-on and typically jerky forward giant that some will opt for.
