Previously viewed as a wildly unnecessary and cumbersome dance element on beam (when so many other C elements exist to be used), the 2017 code of points breathed new life into the straight jump full. As an option for the Dutch to use in mixed series or for other, mortal beings to attempt from side position for an extra tenth—that is probably being given back, and then some, because of form and wobbles, but that’s an issue for another day—the straight jump full is back, people.
