The simplest possible vault in the code of points, the handspring was already turning obsolete in the 60s—by which point any bouffant hairdo that was anyone needed to be doing at least a Yamashita. Essentially, this exists in the CoP nowadays simply to be the easiest vault that you can do for a score.
