Unlike the other eponymous Mukhina—the full-twisting back salto from standing on the high bar—which has been banned from the code of points, this one still exists. It just hasn’t been touched in years, like an old west ghost town. And at a D value, it might actually be worth learning for someone who needs a D dismount but is struggling with the traditional options.
Now, you couldn’t do it like Mukhina did, with the wrap around from the high bar, because the distance of the bars no longer allows that, but…a hip circle to back tuck from the high bar? Definitely some code-working that could be done.
