The poor little jump to handstand has more or less been valued out of commission in modern gymnastics with its A (0.1) rating. Why would you ever try to go to handstand when you could just lazily squat through and then frown your way to a wrist flick for the same value?
The jump to handstand receives just an A rating while the press handstand is a B because the momentum gained by initiating the jump makes it that little bit easier to get to handstand. But also, A or B, no one really cares. You’re not counting that skill.
