The 2020s brought the return of the scissor jumps to the elite code of points on both beam and floor after a period of exile. It’s what all the kids were clamoring for. Cool stuff, like scissors.
You’ll mostly hear this called a hitch kick and will mostly see it in NCAA beam routines, where an A (0.1) element like this can be connected into a more difficult acrobatic skill for bonus.
