Ah, the old straddle back. Love a straddle back. We will still see straddle backs occasionally in elite routines from those who are just trying to get 8 reasonably valued skills out there and aren’t so bothered with the number of D elements or connection bonus (and can use this for the grip change requirement), but the infrequency of the straddle back is primarily down to its C value and ineligibility for any kind of connection bonus.
