About
Colloquially, this would be called a Korbut mount—even though Olga Korbut never did it—because the swing down on the beam itself is known as a Korbut, and here you’re doing a Korbut…as a mount. Korbut mount.

From 1991-2006, there was another variation of this mount called the Milosevici, named after Lavinia Milosevici, involving tucking and stretching of the legs in the flight phase before the swing down. Doing a swing down on beam with tucking and stretching was originally named after Chen Cuiting, so then when Milosevici started doing it as a mount, this was known as either a Milosevici or a Chen mount.

In 2006, the women’s technical committee decided that the Milosevici mount was yucky poo-poo and didn’t exist anymore—following the elimination of the Chen in the prior code edition—so now the only option is to do it the regular way. Stretched hips, swing down, pose for your life.
