For the purposes of skill value, the code of points is going to consider the element performed above as a tour jeté (even though ballet might stab you in the face about it), so it will receive D (0.4) value, rather than the C (0.3) given to a split leap with 1/2 turn.
Most gymnasts attempting to perform a D dance element on beam have gravitated toward the switch leap 1/2 instead of the “tour jeté,” but you wonder how many would actually find the tour jeté the more comfortable element if they knew that counted as a tour jeté.
