The front handspring mount is the best mount in the code of points. These are science facts. It’s the good stuff.
It’s a great shame that it was not upgraded to a D (0.4) during the Great 2017 Mount Upgrade because that might actually encourage people to do it more. And also because it’s justifiable. A front handspring is generally considered to be more difficult than a front walkover, but with beam mounts, the two are in the same box for the same value. The walkover could remain a C (0.3) with the handspring going to D (0.4) and it would make total sense.
The head kips are also here, which have very much gone out of style in gymnastics. It’s a shame visually, but also you get it because…head.
