The single wolf turn doesn’t have much of a footprint on floor because if you’re going to do something so deeply unattractive, you better get some value out of it. Otherwise there’s no point. And there’s no point to the single wolf on floor.
Of note, the term “wolf turn” is largely a colloquial creation, popularized by the internet. This turn is not referred to by the wolf name in the code of points and only very recently has the wolf turn nomenclature been picked up by The Powers. The traditional nomenclature is Cossack turn, though that feels…somehow racist. I know it’s not racist, but also it feels racist.
