About
The front tuck 1/2 as a beam mount entered the code of points after Angel Wong performed it in qualification at the 2012 Olympics in London. It received an F (0.6) rating, which it still possesses today. Only two mounts on beam are considered more difficult than this one: the Arabian and the back layout with full twist.

As such, this mount gets into the territory of being too hard for most top gymnasts to want to try. Even those who go for some risk in the beam mount will not go this far. It’s like a whole routine in one skill. Wong herself ditched this mount not long after getting it named, typically opting for the more manageable front tuck.
