The cat leap 1/2 made a brief cameo in the 1988 compulsory beam, which is pretty much its entire claim to fame. While many B (0.2) dance elements have a place in modern beam routines because they can be included in a three-element series for bonus, the cat leap 1/2 is harder to integrate in that way.

Still, I’d say there are a number of athletes who could tack that on to the end of something useful to give us a slightly different look at series bonus.
