About
The switch leap with full turn used to be considered the same element as the switch leap with 1/2 turn, both valued at C (0.3). This was before the women’s technical committee decided that hurried turning on the way down after hitting a split is what the people want to see. All the kids are talking about it.

So, in 2009, they separated the switch 1/2 and switch full, leaving the switch 1/2 at C and upping the switch full to D (0.4). This led to a run on the switch full given its potential for a juicy, juicy four tenths, though it is only very occasionally rotated an actual full turn. The more common skill is the switch leap 7/8 + little turn hop as getting the full twist around is quite difficult.
