About
In general, the women’s technical committee doesn’t really approve of twisting unless it is in a straight position.

The code of points just sort of shoved the tucked and piked twisting variations into this one box and gave them all a B (0.2) value, to say that these elements exist, but they’re not happy about it. In fact, many related elements have been recently removed from the code.

The front pike with full twist and 1.5 twists (C elements) were removed from the code in 2013 as part of the WTC’s purge of piked twisting elements under the argument that it’s not physically possible to maintain a piked position while twisting that much. (I mean, you can, it’s just ug-o, which is one of the reasons no one debated that much.) Later, in the 2017 update, the front tuck with 1.5 twists was also removed.
