The Strong transition is named after Lori Strong (Ballard), a Canadian Olympian, then a Georgia gymnast, and now an LSU commentator. It is exceptionally rare, mostly because of its insane difficulty, but a favorite skill of gymnerds past and present nonetheless. Alas, because of its difficulty and the impossibility of connecting anything out of it for value, don’t expect there to be a sudden run on Strongs. It’s one of those “we’ll always have Paris” skills.
