The Gurova mount has the rarefied honor of being one of only three mounts on bars valued at E or high—and the only one that does not involve insane Arabian saltos over bars. An illustration of the difficulty of this mount arrives in the example above. The limit does not exist on the deductions that would receive in modern elite.

The Gurova also has the distinction of having been originated well before the simpler version of itself with no twisting—the Gonzalez, which wouldn’t come around for decades. Those Soviets. They don’t mess with the easy stuff.
