Round-off, full-twisting swingdown mount
Vasiliki Tsavdaridou (GRE)
Tsavdaridou—who remains one of the few people permitted to do Rulfova elements because she could make it look non-OUCHIEWHY—got this inherently cool mount named after herself in 1996, and it remains one of the most under-valued mounts in the code of points. It was not upgraded in 2017 along with other mounts, which means it’s now the same value as a round-off back handspring mount, despite being a Rulfova instead of a back handspring. Which is, you know, harder. The full-twisting back handspring mount is an E! I mean…
It’s not like I want everyone to start trying this skill (please don’t, wait until you receive Rulfova permission from the committee), but let’s just reward its difficulty shall we?
