About
Vasiliki Tsavdaridou reigns as one of the great innovators of the 90s, developing eponymous skills on both beam and floor that remain pretty much her individual domain. Tsavdaridou first unleashed this mount upon the world when she was 13 at the 1994 American Cup, where she finished 2nd yet didn’t make the NBC broadcast. Oops.

Rulfova (full-twisting swing down) elements are rather rare in modern gymnastics to begin with, and the D (0.4) value for doing it as a mount does not really encourage anyone to bother, especially when that is the same value as the much more manageable back handspring mount. Everyone would much rather do that one.

Because gymnastics is a comedy, not a drama
