Klein – BB – Arkansas – standing loso loso is secure, tucked legs – switch to straddle 1/4, hit – 1.5 dmt, holds stick but a control lean forward. 9.825

Roberson – BB – Arkansas – beat to pike jump – straddle 1/2 with a check, no connection – switch to back tuck, as her backup routine, secure – side aerial to loso, strong – sticks dmt. 9.950. Roberson getting 9.950 this time, with a literal check and having to do a backup routine with the switch leap they took out so she could get better scores, is the best summary of college gymnastics. The scoring, she don’t make sense.

Estep finishes out meet on floor as Oklahoma cruises.

FINAL
Oklahoma 198.350
Arkansas 197.450
Missouri 197.225
Ohio State 196.700

Arkansas through with Oklahoma, gaining a ton on beam compared to the semifinal. Landings were most of it today. I don’t think Missouri had a deduction-free landing on beam (either movement or leans) or vault and maybe one or two on bars, and when landings are everything, that’s not going to advance.

I’m glad Bridget is asking KJ about how she had a full on-camera heart attack during Fatta’s layout stepout. V important.

9.875 and a counting score is interesting. I mean, I know she didn’t give up more than a .05 check on the first aerial, but there’s got to be more consequences for these bigger errors when trying to separate teams.
