About
Attitude is a term gymnastics borrowed from ballet (so if you want to pronounce it with a French accent as pretentiously as possible, by all means be my guest. It refers to the leg being raised up toward the mid-line of the body with the knee bent. When we use the term attitude in gymnastics we are typically referring to back attitude as default, but there are others.

Most people don’t learn this turn, electing to go for L or Y positions if the option is presented, but the attitude does exist as well at the same value.

Value

Because gymnastics is a comedy, not a drama
