Ugh

About
From 2013-2016, the front aerial reigned as the most common way of circumventing the requirement for a forward/sideward acrobatic element by just throwing it into the middle of the routine randomly like this is Dancing with the Stars or something and you have to remind everyone that you’re a gymnast every week.

Thankfully, the rule was changed in 2017 so that the forward acrobatic element must be part of an actual tumbling line, and the tacked-on front aerial immediately disappeared from floor routines. No one missed it.

Value
A

Because gymnastics is a comedy, not a drama
