2026 US Nationals – Day 1 Live Blog

Scores/international stream

We have 19 slated for the AA, plus Jayla Hang competing beam.

Officially, the top 2 AA from this competition automatically make selection camp (duh), plus at least 8 others from nationals. But per the last IEC meeting, they’re going to put 12 people on national team based on their AA results at the end of the second day. So presumably those will be the gymnasts making the worlds selection camp, plus any petitions from people like Hang who aren’t doing AA.

Not sure how ready this crowd is for the announcement that the roles of Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Suni Lee will be played by understudies tonight. Jade out here to save the day in the intros.

A hit, will score well, not quite as strong as podium.

Well, she’s certainly winning ther save awards

Carey – VT – extremely high DTY, hit with bounce back. 14.200, which is the vault score for everyone.

They have brought out the beauty queens to be interviewed for some reason. Do a back tuck.

The Rivera Fall Incident has thrown everything into disrepair. Bullock now leads over Pease and Blakely, but Blakely is going to the higher-scoring vault.
