About
A connection-pass favorite, the front 1/1 is only rarely used as a standalone pass in the lowest-difficulty floor routines. Instead, it mostly features on the back end of twisting-pass combinations, usually following a back 1.5 or, for the riskier out there, the back 2.5 for a valuable 0.2 in connection bonus. A massive boon to less double-saltoy gymnasts who would prefer to stay closer to solid ground.
