About
What did we even do before the Shaposh? The Shaposhnikova family of elements has become a ubiquitous presence in all elite bars routines as an essential method of getting from the low bar to the high bar that also provides that sweet, sweet D value.

This skill, with a clear-hip entry, is the original recipe Shaposhnikova. The first of its kind. The one actually, literally named after Natalia Shaposhnikova. The word Shaposhnikova has colloquially become a catch-all to refer to this style of release in any of its incarnations (toe-on, Stalder, etc) for the sake of ease, but when used as a stand-alone term, it refers specially to this clear-hip version.

There are many Shaposhnikova-style skills, so for handy reference, refer to the Shaposhatchev Dictionary with naming differentiation for all Shaposhnikova and Tkatchev variants.
