Jump 1/2 to high bar
The jump 1/2 turn specifically to high bar is actually its own mount in the code of points, separate from the jump 1/2 turn to low bar. It’s also a B instead of an A…because high. Scary.
Like the jump 1/2 turn to low bar, there’s not really a ton happening in this mount, but if you were to do it today, you would be the talk of the town for your risk and originality. But no one is going to do it because 1) you can just do a glide kip, and 2) the risk of starting your routine with a deduction for a crazy-elbow muscled-up kip is extreme. As in, it’s going to happen.
