The back layout with 1.5 twists is the first of the back layout skills that the code doesn’t give the “flyaway” moniker—you’ll more often hear this described as a back 1.5—but it still qualifies as part of the flyaway family. It’s simply a little more difficult than the word “flyaway” would typically indicate.

The back 1.5 and back 2/1 are given the same value in the code of points, and in a surprising piece of continuity, that is true across the events, as the back 1.5 and 2/1 have the same value as each other on beam and floor as well. We’re all shocked.
