“I don’t know…that weird leapy thing?”

While the full-twisting version of this skill has become increasingly popular in floor routines for gymnasts who aren’t so much with the leaps and just want to get out of there with some basic C elements, the 1/2-turning version isn’t a thing because of its B value. We’re all fine with that.

Note that the leg has to be held above horizontal for the duration of the leap for this to count. This happens never% of the time.
