About
From the publishing of the 1989 code of points through to 2021, this element was attributed by name to Kelly Garrison, even though the mount Garrison performed was definitely tucked when she hit it, especially at naming-eligible competitions.

In 2022, the adjustment was made to give the tucked version to Garrison and leave this one unnamed, but we have all agreed as a family to give it to Sasada Natsumi. Because it was the Garrison for more than 3 decades, though, it’s still also the Garrison. Old habits die never.

This is one of only two beam mounts in the code of points to receive a G (0.7) rating, along with the Arabian, and every time the maximum value for a skill in the code of points has been increased, this mount has received the maximum. It started as a D, then when E skills were introduced in 1993, it became an E, then when Super Es were introduced in 2001 (because someone said, “What letter comes after E? Super E!”) it became a Super E, then when Fs and Gs were introduced with the open code in 2006, it became a G.

But now that there’s an H beam dismount, do we hear H?

Because gymnastics is a comedy, not a drama
