The day starts with Georgia’s visit to Arkansas in the early block before things get super busy and we all start missing everything.
A couple changes for Arkansas today in the pre-meet lineups. Klein is in on floor instead of Cucci, and Campbell is on bars for Swaney. For Georgia, Gleichowski is on floor, replacing Eryn Williams.
The SECN has not updated their notes that Roberson has an individual world vault bronze.
Rotation 1
L Smith – VT – Arkansas – yfull, pretty and high, good body position, full tenth bounce back. 9.825
Wahl – UB – Georgia – toe on to maloney to pak, solid, not the most swingback on the shaposh, you like to see the back swing reach horizontal – 1/2 turn on low is late after vertical – solid hs on high – DLO, bounce back. 9.850, a little high for me to start there.
Cucci – VT – Arkansas – Y1.5, also strong amplitude, medium hop forward, little bit of position on block. 9.900
Bacskay – UB – Georgia – good first hs – pak, legs together – hits hs on low – toe on to van leeuwen, solid – definitely short hs on high – giant full, solid finish, into double tuck, stuck. That’s one of her best bars. 9.875
NVM Roberson is on vault now. See, I just had to say it.
Roberson – VT – Arkansas – goes for the Cheng, keeps the position open, but lands a little short, step forward. 9.775
Woolford – UB – Pak is so high, too high, catches with her chest over the bar, loses rhythm, muscles cast back up – van leeuwen, nice height – stalder to double tuck, step back 9.725
Klein – VT – Arkansas – y1.5, very large lunge forward, some knee form at the end as well. Agree with Webb that this should be a 0.2 step. 9.800, so they probably went .150 lunge and then .05 for knees
Scott – UB – Georgia – rushed first hs – Ray to pak, very high, a little too over the bar but had enough time to adjust so not a total elbow-fest on catch – van leeuwen, legs together – short hs on high – DLO, sticks. 9.900
Williams – VT – Arkansas – y1.5, pretty in the air, little hop forward, very slight leg form in the air. 9.925
Reingold – UB – Georgia – blind to piked jaeger, nice – pak, legs together – solid finish on 1/2 turn on low – DLO, can’t hold stick, step back. 9.850
M Price – VT – Arkansas – Y1.5, out of control on landing as well, big bound, and then a little hop. 9.825. I feel like at minimum you need to say .150 first hop and then .05 second hop, but…
Smith – UB – Georgia – good hs – stalder to maloney to bail, toe point for years – stalder to double tuck, compresses to hold the stick. 9.925
After 2
Georgia 49.400, Arkansas 49.275
Georgia pretty clean on bars, not their best handstands, but able to drop that pak from Woolford. A hit vault from Arkansas, important to get Roberson in the lineup, got some pretty friendly scoring on a lot of those landings.
Rotation 2
Scott – VT – Georgia – yfull is lovely, but a hop back and then an extra step. 9.750
Roberson – UB – Arkansas – clear hip to maloney to pak, hit – 1/2 turn slightly late – a bit short on hs on high – DLO, good stick. 9.900 quittte high
Moll – VT – Georgia – solid Y1.5, medium hop forward. 9.875
Klein – UB – Arkansas – Hindorff to overshoot is solid, some leg form at the end – hit hs on high – DLO, little bit of piking, seems like a stick but all we saw was Brooks Butt. 9.875
Battle – VT – Georgia – also has the lungies today – big lunge on Y1.5. 9.800
L Smith – UB – Arkansas – hits hs – toe on to maloney to bail, hit, little bit of legs – DLO, strong stick. 9.900
C Williams – VT – Georgia – y1.5, good height as well, one tenth step forward as she balances the landing. Landing all they took, 9.900
Campbell – UB – Arkansas – hits hs – tkatchev, good amplitude, catches far but controls pretty well – has nice handstands – pak, smooth – 1/2 turn on low – short hs on high – stalder to double tuck, flexed feet, can’t hold the stick with a step salute. 9.825
Aquino – VT – Georgia – good late open on her Tsuk 1/1, hop back. 9.875
Cucci – UB – Arkansas – toe on to pak, high, also a little over the low bar, not as much as woolford – van leeuwen, leg separation -arches hs on high, pulls it back – DLO, not as much amplitude, but gets it stuck, just a little pike. 9.725
Wahl – VT – Georgia – y1.5, another pretty large hop forward, good direction. 9.800
Price – UB – Arkansas – toe on to maloney to bail, little hip angle on bail – solid hs on high – FTDT, lovely form in the air, holds the stick well, 9.950
After 2
Arkansas 98.725, Georgia 98.650
Arkansas takes over a slight lead. Georgia a very similar vault to Arkansas, too lungey but fine and hit. Arkansas takes a lead with bars. Kind of thought Georgia’s bars was cleaner, but Arkansas stuck more, so that’s the lead.
Feels like one of those meets where we’ve decided all landing steps are the same deduction and there are no form deductions taken as long as you ask Jesus hard enough. One of my biggest issues with vault judging right now is that it feels like we’re saying the Morgan Price first bound and Camarrah Williams step are the same deduction, and that’s dumb. Let’s use more than .10.
Rotation 3
Gustitus – BB – Arkansas – bhs loso, hit, good foot in bhs – switch to switch 1/2 to split jump, comfortable – full turn – gainer pike step back. Nice on the beam. 9.800
Wahl – FX – Georgia – FTDT, slide back, some leg separation in the air – front tuck through to double tuck, another small landing adjustment – 1.5 turn – tour jete 1/2 to wolf full, gets lower in the wolf as she tries to wrench it out and somewhat out of control on landing. 9.800
Klein – BB – Arkansas – standing loso loso, very good – switch to straddle 1/4, back leg looked lower on switch, secure landing – full turn – 1.5 dmt, step forward. 9.850
Tomlin – FX – Georgia – double arabian, good legs together position, into a strong stag jump – switch 1/2, overturns it, into popa, good positions in the air – front loso to double tuck, small rebound, some foot form on double tuck. 9.925.
Cucci – BB – Arkansas – full turn, very nice – bhs loso, comfortable as well – aerial, solid – switch, hesitation before straddle 1/2, little check after as well – 1.5 dmt, nice stick. 9.875
Aquino – FX – Georgia – DLO, excellent control on landing – front tuck through to double tuck, good height, very slight rebound – switch 1/2 to a high wolf full, definitely over turns the switch 1/2 too much, that was a switch 3/4 to wolf 3/4 – high straddle. 9.925
Weaver – BB – Arkansas – bhs loso, comfortable, nice foot position – side aerial, lean wobble on landing, probably keeps it to .05 – straddle jump to stag ring – full turn, light hesitation – 1.5, stuck dismount.
C Williams – FX – Georgia – DLO, great amplitude, shows control on the landing – switch 1/2 to popa, also got the memo about overturning your first leap by a quarter because no one’s going to take it – front tuck to double tuck, also good control, chest too far down. 9.800. Did they actually take it????
Judge conference on Weaver’s beam. 9.800
M Price – BB – Arkansas – full turn – bhs loso, small lean – cat leap to aerial, hit – switch, little hesitation before split, but hits it – 2/1, holds the stick. 9.875
Arkansas has gotten away with a couple borderline missed connections here.
L Smith – FX – Georgia – “I tell myself to squeeze my butt” this is the content we’re looking for – front 2/1 to front tuck, good control – bhs loso to have a back element – switch side, overturns, into wolf full – rudi to straddle jump, nice. 9.950
Roberson – BB – Arkansas – beat to high pike jump – switch to back tuck, comfortable – full turn, check – side aerial to loso is hit – punch front full, stuck.
They’re discussing her switch leap. Yes, she hits 180, but her back knee is cheated out and bent. That’s why Roberson’s elite E scores are in the 7s.
She gets 9.950 with a wobble, so they didn’t care.
Gleichowski – FX – Georgia – back 1.5 to front full, good control, bit of soft knees – double pike, well short, chest down and step adjustment – switch 3/4 to a wolf 3/4 – 9.725
After 3
Arkansas 148.075
Georgia 148.050
Georgia makes back a slight amount, but advantage to Arkansas since they’re going to floor. A strong floor for Georgia, but they’re really hurting the case for righteous outrage that they’re not ahead with all these cheated leap combinations.
Rotation 4
Tomlin – BB – Georgia – candle mount, hit – switch, wobble before straddle jump, broken connection, so we’ll see if it matters – bhs bhs loso, wobble, leg up – full turn, nice – 1.5 dmt, a little under rotated, hop forward. She shouldn’t get credit for having a dance combination. Arkansas had a couple checks in series that weren’t considered broken, but this was more extreme.
9.600, only one judge took the broken connection. Which is wild in its own right
Klein – FX – Arkansas – front tuck through to double tuck, keeps the step back in bounds – switch side 1/2 to popa – front lay, some leg separation, into front full, under control. 9.800
Gleichowski – BB – Georgia – bhs bhs loso, chest down but lands securely – full turn – switch 1/2, lands off line and falls, so Tomlin has to count – switch to split, lower back leg on switch – 1.5, hop forward. 9.250
putjaydahbattleinthebeamlineup.tumblr.com
Also Kara Eaker, where art thou?
Smith – FX – Arkansas – front loso through to double tuck, comfortable – switch 1/2 to straddle, not her usual straddle – double pike, also nice, good control – 9.850
Woolford – BB – Georgia – wolf double, hit – bhs loso, high, hit, little squeeze to minimize adjustment – switch to split is nice – 2/1 dismount, leaves the beam basically halfway down, short landing, hop forward. 9.825
M Price – FX – Arkansas – double pike, controls the step – 2.5, out of control on the lunge forward – switch 1/2 to two wolf fulls, good height – front lay to front full is under rotated, step back – 9.800
L Smith – BB – Georgia – aerial to back tuck was nearly the wildest save, landing back tuck with one foot totally off, held it but then a big lean wobble at the hips – cat leap to switch, controls it with a waver on landing – kickover front pike is great – full turn – gainer full, low amplitude but stuck. 9.750 is friendddly
L WIlliams – FX – Arkansas – FTDT, large bounce back, did she go OOB, the extra mat lines made it look confusing, replay shows yes – switch side to popa – back 1.5 to front full, little slide forward, good air form. 9.925, even if you say she didn’t go OOB, that score makes no sense
Scott – BB – Georgia – full turn – bhs loso, good control – aerial to split jump to bhs, lovely rhythm inbeat to that combination – switch, little hesitation before split jump, great positions – fhs rudi, good control on landing, just a little chest forward. 9.925 sure why not.
F Price – FX – Arkansas – DLO, hit, bounce back – switch side, over turns a little into popa and popa, she’s high enough that she doesn’t really need to over turn that – front full to lay, bounce forward. 9.875
C Williams – BB – Georgia – bhs to real two-foot layout, strong landing – side somi, holds it with small correction – beat to straddle 3/4, solid – full turn, kind of tentative out of that – gainer pike, back on her heels, step back. 9.900. Lots of we’re sorry scores for Georgia’s beam too.
Roberson – FX – Arkansas – DLO, keeps the front foot down – switch side, over turns, into popa – front loso to double tuck, chest a little down, controls the step again. 9.925
FINAL:
Arkansas 197.450
Georgia 197.050
The real shame about Georgia screwing up beam is that it robbed us of indignation about the result of this meet. If the answer is right, but the work is wrong, you shouldn’t get full credit.
Alright let’s deal with Alabama and Oklahoma.
Rotation 1
Scheible – VT – Oklahoma – handspring pike 1/2, lands a bit short, chest down, hop forward. 9.800 makes me worried about what the good ones will score.
Walker – UB – Alabama – good first hs – maloney to pak, legs together well – hits hs on low – van leeuwen – solid hs on high – FTDT, little leg separation in the air, hop back. 9.875
Wells – VT – Oklahoma – y1.5 is strong, step forward, some knees. 9.850
Gladieux – UB – Alabama – good hs – blind to jaeger to overshoot, good legs together on overshoot, has the height – giant full very late, into double tuck, leans to hold the stick. 9.850
Elsewhere, Chio 9.975 vault. LSU 49.475. Also, Kentucky is like, we’re good now.
Blessey – VT – Oklahoma – she’s back in the lineuo – handspring pike 1/2, larger lunge back, tucks it at the end. 9.825
Fuller – UB – Alabama – pak, smooth – good hs on low – toe on to van leeuwen, clena – short hs on high – DLO, legs apart, hop back. 9.800
Estep – VT – Oklahoma – Y1.5, very good stick, nice landing – little bit of knees, little bit of direction but they won’t care because she was within the lines. 9.950
Pawlak – UB – Alabama – short first hs – toe on to maloney, fingertips it into bail, grat leg position, over balances slightly – some back position on high bar handstand – DLO, step back. 9.825
Mueller – VT – Oklahoma – well she stuck her y1.5, kind of magically because it was a little lower and definitely staggered on landing, but stuck. 9.925
LaCoursiere – UB – Alabama – good first hs – maloney to pak, legs together well – hits hs on low – vn leeuwen, small leg separation to start – good hs on high – FTDT, clear stick. 9.925
Fatta – VT – Oklahoma – also a strong stick, very similar to Estep, a little better direction, we’ll see what they do because anchor. 9.975
Ra-Akbar – UB – Alabama – good first hs – toe on to pak, good form – hits hs on ow – toe on to van leeuwen – a ilittle short on high bar hs – stralder to double tuck, slide back
After 1
Oklahoma 49.525
Alabama 49.375
A tale of two rotations for Oklahoma as they were kind of bad at the beginning and then great at the end. Alabama not as good as usual on bars. Not as sticky, not as clean. Got away with a couple middle lineup routines still being in the 9.8s.
Joining Florida and Missouri in progress.
Tanskanen – VT – Missouri – handspring pike 1/2 is good, holds on the stick with chest forward, slight leg separation. 9.875
McCusker – UB – Florida – chow to pak is hit – shorter hs on low – van leeuwen, nice legs together – short hs on high – stalder to double tuck is super deep, knee down. And she’s coming after a 9.450 for Pilgrim who fingertipped her maloney and couldn’t connect into pak with an extra swing. 9.400 for McCusker. Eek.
Echols – VT – Missouri – nice high yfull, huge bounce back. 9.825
Rotation 2- Alabama/Oklahoma
Sears – VT – Alabama – y1.5, a little stugg on landing with a hop forward, good in the air. 9.875
DiCello saves Florida’s bars with a hit for 9.900. Skye Blakely step back on dismount. 9.825.
Pederson – UB – Oklahoma – Ray, hit – toe on to pak, clean – 1/2 turn a little past on low bar – DLO, good stick
LaCoursiere – VT – ALabamma – Y1.5 is hit, but shouldn’t be the biggest score, bound forward and soft knees in the air. 9.825
And now Selena Harris just fell on her Ray. Disaster bars for Florida. 48.475
Murphy – UB – Oklahoma – smooth hs – toe on to maloney to pak, leg form is clean – 1/2 turn on low is better – hits hs on high – giant full, past, into double tuck, good stick. 9.925
Paradise – VT – Alabama – little hop forward on her y1.5, little bit of knees, solid. 9.875
Scheible – UB – Oklahoma – hits hs on high – lind to jaeger, not the highest amplitude but hit – bail, legs together well – FTDT, good feet in the air, nearly stuck, step back. 9.825
Gladieux – VT – Alabama – hits Y1.5, medium hop forward, more form deductions on her block than the others with a leg separation. 9.825
Fatta – UB – Oklahoma – good hs – Church to pak, strong height – borderline on 1/2 turn on low – DLO, slight piking in the air, sticks. 9.900
Ra-Akar – VT – Alabama – Y1.5, nails the landing, best twisting form on the 1.5s today, little lean forward to hold the stick. Nice. 9.950
Torrez – UB – Oklahoma – Ray, hit, slight elbows on catch – toe on to pak, legs apart – muscles through 1/2 turn on low with a rhythm break – DLO, sticks it. More form to take in there than the others. But they don’t. 9.900.
Cawley – VT – Alabama – Y1.5, struggles with the landing, large lunge forward, knees in the air. 9.650
Estep – UB – Oklahoma – tkatchev, hit, not a lot of amplitude – bail, legs together well – hits hs on high – giant full, good finish – into FTDT, legs slightly apart, stuck. 9.925
After 2
Oklahoma 99.100
Alabama 98.725
Alabama doing fine but only like 2 gymnasts per rotation are really on. Kind of feel like I’m taking crazy pills with the ranking of the Oklahoma bars routines, so nothing new there.
DiCello a little under on her Y1.5 for Florida with a shuffle back for 9.800. Disidore follows with her Y1.5, also short, lunge back. 9.750
Kelly – UB – Missouri – hits good hs on high – toe on to Church, a little close but no trouble connecting to overshoot – toe on to stalder to double tuck, hop back
Draser – VT – Florida – Y1.5, doesn’t land under but lands a little stiff with a hop forward and then a step salute, so they’ll also need to take the deduction for not holding finish position. 9.850 makes me think we didn’t.
Tanskanen – UB – Missouri – some pike in first hs – toe on to maloney to pak, smooth – 1/2 turn on low is past vertical with a pike – giant full to double tuck, little hop. 9.825
Frazier – VT – Florida – DTY, lands very short today, chest down, lunge forward, just barely got it around.
Florida kind of competing like everyone went out for shots last night.
Terry – UB – Missouri – good first hs – toe on to gienger to overshoot, nice amplitude on gienger, very small form breaks – FTDT, stuck. Good.
Ferris better on y1.5, little hop forward
Rotation 3 – Oklahoma v Alabama
Fatta – BB – Oklahoma – bhs loso, secure landing – side aerial, comfortable – hitch kick to switch side, seemed a little tight today – full turn, arm sweep on finish – switch to split, hit – bhs gainer full, not the highest, good stick. 9.900
Harris sticks her y1.5. Echols lovely DLO on bars but a hold back and another little bounce. Somehow Florida escaped that vault with 49.250.
LaCoursiere – FX – Alabama – double tuck, good height, bounce back – switch ring to tour jete 1/2 with a closeup of her face for some reason – front lay to rudi to double tuck, shows control – 9.875
Wells – BB – Oklahoma – literally does the worm – cat leap to switch side aerial, hit – full turn – switch to split, secure – bhs loso, lean correction out of it – 1.5, holds stick. 9.900
Cawley – FX – Alabama – FTDT, good control on the step back, some shin separation in the air – switch 1/2 to wolf full wolf full, an eighth of a turn under on landing – back 1.5 to layout, hit, not a ton of amplitude but enough –
Murphy – BB – Oklahoma – candle mount, good hs and feet – bhs loso, good form on the back legs, smooth performance – aerial, holds it – full turn, little hesitation – beat to split ring, closeup of her face – gainer full, good height, leans on landing and another closeup of her face. Do these people think we’re here for faces? We are here for deductions and deductions only. 9.825
Rybicki – FX – Alabama – double tuck, a little large on the step back – switch side and a 1/4 into straddle 3/4 – back 1.5 to front full, very strong control shown
Estep – BB – Oklahoma – full turn – bhs loso, slight body waver on landing – switch to switch combination, steps forward and walks out of it to try to cover, lean, turn to the side, and step to deduct – cat leap side aerial is strong – 1.5 dmt, holds stick with a lean.
Missouri has started on beam, Wier with large lean forward at the waist.
Ra-Akbar – FX – Alabama – front tuck through to 2.5, lovely twisting, shows control on landing – switch ring to switch 1/2 are fab – back 1.5 to front lay, controls the step as well wolf double, stands up a little bit out fo it Very good. 9.950
Pederson – BB – Oklahoma – full turn, little correction – bhs loso, secure – side somi, solid – hitch kick to switch side, under straddle position, tight element – high 2/1 dismount, holds a good stick. 9.925 too much for me.
Macpherson beam for Missouri, good loso series, wobble on full turn – hits standing loso – 1.5 dmt, big arm circle.
Sears – FX – Alabama – DLO, good amplitude and control, some leg separation in the air – switch side to popa, great straddle as usual, over turns that switch side though – front tuck through to double tuck, some foot flexing but strong control again. 9.925
Torrez – BB – Oklahoma – wolf jump, great – side aerial to loso, strong, right on – full turn – switch to straddle, also a great straddle – bhs gainer full, holds stick. 9.975
It’s fine (great) that the judges aren’t shoveling out as many 10s as they did a couple years ago, but you’ve got to bring that same energy to the 9.800s you’re giving 9.950.
Gladieux – FX – Alabama – open FTDT but lacks control, slide back – tour jete 1/2 to popa, around – fron aly to rudi to straddle jump, a little work to control. 9.875
Taylor Clark OOB on DLO for Florida. Short on double tuck. They didn’t take OOB. 9.800.
After 3
Oklahoma 148.625
Alabama 148.250
Back over to Missouri and Florida.
Tanskanen – BB – Missouri – up 4th – hits bhs loso, solid – beat to straddle 1/2, little correction – cat leap, pauses, has to redo the cat leap into a front tuck – 1.5 dmt, step forward. 9.775
Frazier – FX – Florida – DLO, a little out fo control, holds the slide in bounds – switch ring to switch 1/2 to straddle is excellent – front tuck through to double tuck, good, chest up, under control. 9.875
Jackson – BB – Missouri – aerial to bhs combo, smooth, just a little slow – switch to switch 1/2 to beat, hit – full turn to KICK, good – gainer pike, under, step back. 9.825
Blakely – FX – Florida – double front, hop forward, no combination – tour jete 1/2 to popa is very well done – back 1.5 to front full, pretty twisting form, shows control on the step. 9.9 start, it should be.
Rotation 4 – Alabama vs Oklahoma
LaCoursiere – BB – Alabama – hits candle mount – switch jump to double stag, check – aerial to bhs, aerial form is very nice, smooth combo – full turn, another small hesitation – 1.5 dmt, hop forward. 9.800
It’s weird watching LaCoursiere go because she’s such a KJ gymnast you forget which team is which.
Pederson – FX – Oklahoma – front double full, controls the step out – back 1.5 through to 2/1, nearly got the landing, little hop forward – switch side to popa to wolf full, a tad under on straddle again. 9.875
Cawley – BB – Alabama – wolf double, holds onto it – bhs loso, secure, just a bit of chest position and knee form in her routines – cat leap to switch side, secure, a little tight in straddle – gainer full, good height, stuck. No wobbles or checks, just some built ins. 9.900
Murphy – FX – Oklahoma – front tuck through to double tuck, nice stick, chest just a bit forward – switch 1/2 to wolf full, around – back 1.5 to front lay – switch full is around as well
Ladanyi – BB – Alabama – aerial to split jump, good positions, controls it – full turn, kind of made a meal but no wobble – bhs loso, knees bent in both, little check out of it – switch to split, hit – bhs gainer full, stuck. 9.800
Pawlak – FX – Oklahoma – double pike, legs together well, shows control on landing – switch 1/2 to wolf full, clearly around as well – back 1.5 to front full, controls step – switch full shorter. 9.925
Kvamme – BB – Alabama – full turn, very small adjustment – aerial, some knee softness, connects to bhs loso – switch to split, good – kickover, holds, small lean – front gainer full, good stick.
LSU done on 197.525.
Mueller – FX – Oklahoma – double tuck is under control well, some leg separation – rudi, better control, still looks a little under-rotated – tour jete 1/2 to popa, good, not cheated around. This is better from Oklahoma on floor today. 9.925
Gladieux – BB – Alabama – bhs lay pike is off line today, falls – full turn, good – aerial to beat, comfortable – switch to split, hit – 2/1, stuck. 9.225
Fatta – FX – Oklahoma – front full stepout through to 2.5 is hit, controls the step, bit of knee position – tour jete 1/2 to popa, solid – front 2/1 quick dance out – strong. That will clinch a 198. 9.950
Fuller – BB – Alabama – no Ra-Akbar in the AA today – aerial to split jump, good height on split jump – full turn – bhs loso, second, some soft leg position – switch, little hesitation before split jump – 1.5, stuck. 9.775
Skye Blakely just did a very funny wolf double that typifies Florida’s meet. Too funny to be a deduction I guess?
Estep – FX – Oklahoma – front lay to front 2/1 is a big struggle, stumble back, so that will already be the drop score for Oklahoma’s floor.
FINAL
Oklahoma 198.200
Alabama 197.450
A usable score for Alabama despite the loss there. Oklahoma with the win, not as high as that 198.450 from earlier, but I think a better meet overall. After those first three meh vaults, they were right on.
Finishing up with Florida and Missouri.
Frazier – BB – Florida – up 4th – aerial, some knee, gets through the connection to loso, just slightly slow, small check – split jump to split ring, very nice – 1.5 dismount, big lean forward to try to hold stick. 9.875
Eschols – FX – Missouri – FTDT, great in the air, bounce back – switch to switch ring 1/2, good positions, lack of control on landing – front tuck through to 2.5, high, controls that step
Harris – BB – Florida – bhs loso bhs is secure – switch to straddle 1.4, good height – full turn – 1.5 dmt, stuck but almost same lean as Frazier to try to hold it. 9.900
Griffin – FX – Missouri – double pike, super heigh, little bounce back on landing – front tuck through to double tuck, nice chest position, under control on landing – tour jete 1/2 to popa to popa is excellent. 9.925

Horton – FX – Missouri – DLO, very high, pikes down at the end to try to control and ends up bouncing – wolf hop full to a switch side 1/4 kind of? front pike through to double tuck, good one, comfortable landing.
FINAL
Missouri 197.200
Florida 196.500
Kind of a miracle for Florida that they got out of this one with a 196.500, but that’s not a usable score. Will have to figure this out because kind of the whole performance, not just the bars falls, was below their talent level. Missouri gets a strong 197 for a hit meet. Did the job.
