While the double Arabian is a popular and difficult composition choice, the single Arabian salto is just not rated highly enough to make its way into any modern routines.

The piked version with step out did, however, feature in the 1992 compulsory routine as seen above, and I think it would be worthwhile to see it used in current routines with step-out as the first element in an indirect combination pass for 0.1 CV.

The term Arabian refers to any salto that begins with a backward takeoff and then features a 1/2 turn before performing a forward salto.
