About
The bane of the 1996 compulsory bars routine. Owing to the PTSD of that routine, it is completely understandable that this skill has nearly completely disappeared from modern elite gymnastics. We respect your choices.

Not respected, however, is that the code of points named-skill section erroneously credits this element to Irina Yarotska. This skill was definitely in that 1996 compulsory bars routine, and Yarotska definitely wasn’t competing yet. What Yarotska should have named after herself, is the Stalder version of this skill. Not the clear hip. Pull your life together, code of points.

This skill may also be performed with a half twist (the bane of the 1992 compulsory bars routine) for the exact same value, which is some BS.

The code is in desperate need to a D-valued transition that begins facing inside the bars to spice up composition, and this would be an excellent candidate.
