Eeeeevery once in a while, you’ll still see a dive roll on floor in NCAA, but it will be intended as a cool, throwback, “hey now” choreographic moment rather than as a counting skill.

If we had a requirement where gymnasts had to show something from the hand support family on floor (not a bad idea if we expand this section back to include some more olde-tyme elements), we would see a lot more dive rolls, and I would not be opposed.
