Ah, the back spin. No one ever does a back spin anymore. The main reason no one ever does a back spin is because it’s only a B-value element, but a key secondary reason is the numbers pinned on the back of the leo.

You can’t do a back spin with a number pinned on there, so anyone performing a back spin in a competition routine has to take her number off and have her coach walk up and present the number to the judges before her routine Showcase Showgirl-style. And nobody wants to have to deal with that.
