These saltos are too simple to be included in a routine for value, and unlike the front saltos of similar simplicity, they don’t have particular use in connections. There was a 30-second span where people tried to “connect” back tucks out of their tumbling passes, and it was terrible because they were clearly just landing, pausing, and then doing a random back tuck that no one asked for. Thankfully, that died out pretty quickly.
