Giant forward in L-grip/eagle grip/inverse grip
Anna Zaytseva (KAZ)
The giant forward in L-grip is rather rare because it’s an in-between skill. It’s not completely invaluable at C, but most gymnasts with the talent and rubber shoulders necessary to perform this element will graduate past it and go for more difficulty than some paltry C by performing those ever-valuable E-rated pirouettes from L-grip.
Some will, however, still use it as the first still to gain rhythm before going into an extended sequence of L-grip elements.
