The switch 1/2 to sitting split is Marisa Dick’s second eponymous beam mount, which she got named after herself at the 2016 Olympics—following in the footsteps of the simple switch leap to split position the year prior. It is somewhat rare among dance-element mounts in that it carries with it an exceptionally useful D value. Of course, no one cares about that because DICCCCCCCKKKKKKK. The Dick mounts gained international acclaim in both 2015 and 2016 because “You guys lolz there’s a thing in gymnastics called The Dick Move lolz,” even though no one would ever actually call it that. We don’t add the word “move” to the end of named elements, and you are a piece of human garbage.

Now, we would potentially call it the Dick Mount, which is actually funnier, but you missed that opportunity, four-year-internet. You missed it hard.
