Change-leg ring leap
That thing where you switch the rings right before a wedding
The switch ring is among the most ubiquitous of the floor dance elements, appearing in routines more often than not (particularly in the United States). The large majority of gymnasts will end up counting at least one C dance element on floor, and the switch ring is usually the choice. You’ll often see the switch ring appear as the first element in the passage of dance when gymnasts are fulfilling that requirement. This is because it’s quite easy to run/prance directly out of a switch ring into another skill, a proposition that becomes more difficult with a dance element that involves twisting.
