Piked sole circle full
The toe-on full is a mainstay of modern elite bars routines. It’s the most popular D-value pirouetting element and accomplishes many tasks. It’s a countably difficult skill, it fulfills the full-twisting pirouette requirement, and it can be connected into all manner of other D and E elements for connection bonus.
As the trend has moved away from pirouettes and toward releases because of the emphasis on releases for bonus coupled with the harsh deductions for finishing pirouettes past handstand, the toe-on full increasingly appears as the only D pirouette in routines. And if you’re only doing one, it’s probably going to be the toe-on.
