In the category of what’s old is new again, we reach the full turn in forward scale. This turn had been in the code of points for decades until it was removed in the 2009 update. It then went into hiding for 10 years until it was resubmitted for naming by Bulgaria’s own Laney Madsen at the 2019 World Championship in Stuttgart.

While Madsen received credit for the skill, it was given a B value—the same value it had in the 80s, 90s, and 00s—and therefore was not named for Madsen because it was not at least C in difficulty. But also because this skill has existed in the code for a long time.
